1. Introducció

3. Configuració
3.1 Initial Opening and Battery Installation
- Locate the emergency backup keys. These are typically found in a small bag inside the safe or attached to the packaging. Keep them in a secure location outside the safe.
- Insert one of the backup keys into the keyhole located behind the digital keypad cover. Turn the key clockwise while simultaneously turning the knob to open the safe door.
- Once the safe is open, locate the battery compartment on the inside of the door. Insert 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.

3.2 Configuració del vostre codi personal

- On the digital keypad, enter your desired 3-8 digit personal code.
- Press the "LOCK" button to confirm your new code. You will hear a confirmation beep.
- Test your new code with the door open to ensure it works correctly before closing the safe. Enter your code, then turn the knob to confirm the lock mechanism retracts.

4. Funcionament de la caixa forta
4.1 Obrir la caixa forta
- Enter your 3-8 digit personal code on the digital keypad.
- Press the "LOCK" button. If the code is correct, the green "PASS" light will illuminate, and you will hear a beep.
- En 5 segons, gireu el pom en sentit horari per obrir la porta de la caixa forta.
4.2 Tancament i bloqueig de la caixa forta
- Tanqueu bé la porta de la caixa forta.
- Turn the knob counter-clockwise to engage the locking bolts. The safe is now securely locked.
4.3 Accés d'emergència
In case of forgotten password or dead batteries, you can access the safe using the backup key or the USB-C emergency power supply.
- Using Backup Key: Insert the backup key into the keyhole behind the keypad cover. Turn the key clockwise and simultaneously turn the knob to open the safe.
- Using USB-C Emergency Power: Connect the included USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the keypad panel and to an external power bank (not included). This will power the keypad, allowing you to enter your code and open the safe.

5. Instal·lació
The AEGIS safe can be securely mounted to the floor or wall using the pre-drilled holes and included mounting bolts. This prevents unauthorized removal of the safe.
Important Safety Warning: DO NOT DRILL FROM ANY LOCATION INSIDE THE SAFE.
- Unlock and open the safe door. Look to the bottom or the back of the safe for two indentations indicating the pre-drilled holes.
- Use a screw to mark the floor or wall through these holes. Move the safe aside to clearly see both marked spots for drilling.
- Drill into the floor or wall at the marked locations.
- Replace the safe in the desired position, aligning the holes in the safe with those in the floor or wall.
- Pass each tap screw through a washer, then through the safe and into a masonry anchor. Tighten with the wrench. Place masonry anchors into the holes in the floor or wall.

6. Manteniment
6.1 Substitució de la bateria
When the "LOW" battery indicator light illuminates on the keypad, it is time to replace the batteries. Use 4 new AA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries. Replace all batteries at the same time.
6.2 Neteja
Netegeu l'exterior de la caixa forta amb un drap suau iamp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish. Do not use water directly on the keypad or electronic components.
