The fan is designed to mount to a standard ceiling fan junction box. A 6-inch downrod is included. For longer lengths or specific ceiling heights, downrods are sold separately. The fan can be installed on slope ceilings up to a 32-degree slope. For slopes between 32-45 degrees, an optional XF-SCK Slope Ceiling Kit is available.

The Modern Forms app is essential for unlocking the full smart features of your fan. Download the app from your device's app store (iOS or Android).

After installation, create an account or log in. The app will guide you through the pairing process, which typically involves connecting to the fan's temporary Wi-Fi network and then connecting the fan to your home Wi-Fi network. Ensure your home Wi-Fi is a 2.4 GHz network, as the fan can only connect to this frequency.
