1. Introducció

The ANENG AC11 Smart Socket Tester is designed for rapid and accurate detection of power socket polarity and the safety of leakage switches. This device can identify ground wire, neutral wire, live wire, leakage, RCD trip status, socket voltage, and wiring configurations. All results are displayed simultaneously on its integrated LCD screen.

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your ANENG AC11 Socket Tester. Please read it thoroughly before operation.

  • Always ensure the device is in good working condition before use. Do not use if damaged.

4. Configuració

Instal·lació de la bateria:

The ANENG AC11 Socket Tester requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) for operation. To install the batteries:

  2. Unscrew the screw securing the battery cover.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Encès/apagat:

Press and hold the '>2S POWER' button for more than 2 seconds to turn the device on or off.

Basic Socket Testing:

To test a socket's wiring and voltage:

  1. Assegureu-vos que el provador estigui engegat.
  2. Insert the ANENG AC11 Socket Tester into the desired electrical outlet.
  3. The LCD screen will immediately display the wiring status (e.g., 'CORRECT' or 'INCORRECT' with specific fault indicators) and the Live-Neutral (L-N) and Neutral-Earth (N-E) voltage lectures.

6. Indicadors de visualització

The ANENG AC11 features a clear LCD display with various symbols and indicators to communicate the status of the electrical circuit. Refer to the diagram below for a detailed explanation of each indicator:

  1. Símbol de bateria baixa: Indicates that the batteries need replacement.
  2. Reversed order: Indicates incorrect wiring where live and neutral wires are swapped.
  3. Fil neutre: Symbol for the neutral conductor.
  4. Connected correctly: Indicates proper wiring.
  5. Sequential connection error: General wiring error.
  6. FireWire (Live Wire): Symbol for the live conductor.
  7. AC sense contacte voltage (NCV): Indicates NCV detection is active.

7. RCD Test Function

The RCD (Residual Current Device) test function checks the integrity of your leakage protection system. This test will trip the RCD if it is functioning correctly.

Performing an RCD Test:

  1. Plug the ANENG AC11 into the socket you wish to test.
  2. Ensure all sensitive electronic devices connected to the circuit are unplugged or turned off to prevent data loss or damage from a power interruption.
  3. Press the 'RCD TEST' button.
  4. If the RCD trips (power cuts off), it indicates that the leakage protection is functioning correctly.
  5. If the RCD does not trip, it indicates a potential fault in the leakage protection system, and further investigation by a qualified electrician is recommended.

Important: The RCD test will cause a power interruption. Use with caution and only with permission.

8. Vol sense contactetage (NCV) Detecció

The NCV feature allows for the detection of AC voltage without direct contact with live conductors, enhancing safety during preliminary checks.

Using NCV:

When the tester is near an AC voltage source, the lightning symbol and index grid on the display will flash, and an audible alarm will sound. The induction strength index (bar graph) will indicate the proximity and strength of the detected voltage.

10. Manteniment

  • Neteja: Netegeu el dispositiu amb un drap sec i suau. No utilitzeu productes de neteja abrasius ni dissolvents.
  • Substitució de la bateria: Replace batteries when the low battery symbol appears on the display to ensure accurate readings. Refer to Section 4 for battery installation instructions.

11. Solució De Problemes

  • Vol inconsistenttage lectures: Ensure the tester is fully inserted into the socket. Verify the socket itself is functioning correctly with another known working device. Low battery can also affect accuracy; replace batteries.
  • RCD test does not trip: This indicates a potential fault with the RCD or the circuit's leakage protection. Consult a qualified electrician immediately.
