1. Introducció

The LeapFrog On-The-Go Story Pal is an interactive story player designed to engage children with a variety of stories, poems, songs, and lullabies. This device encourages listening comprehension and fosters a love for storytelling. Controls i característiques:

• Tail Dial: Used to power the device on/off and select content categories (Stories, Songs, Lullabies).
• Eye Buttons (Left/Right): Navigate forward or backward through content.
• Nose Button: Play/Pause button. Press and hold for 5 seconds to activate Timer mode.

5. Configuració

5.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Story Pal.
2. Using a screwdriver, loosen the screw on the battery cover.

4. Insert 3 new AA (LR6) batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

5.2 Encès/Apagat

• To turn the Story Pal ON, rotate the Tail Dial from the "OFF" position to any content category (e.g., Stories, Songs).
• To turn the Story Pal OFF, rotate the Tail Dial to the "OFF" position.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Content Selection

• Gira el Tail Dial to select a content category:
  • Book Icon: Històries
  • Music Note Icon: Songs & Poems
  • Moon Icon: Cançons de bressol
• Once a category is selected, use the Left and Right Eye Buttons to navigate through the available content. The digital display will show the track number.
• Premeu el botó Botó del nas to play or pause the selected content.

6.2 Recording Your Voice

The Story Pal allows you to record up to 10 minutes of your own voice, such as reading a favorite story.

1. Select the "Stories" category using the Tail Dial.
2. Navigate to an empty recording slot using the Eye Buttons (refer to the display for available slots).

1. While a desired content item is playing or selected, press and hold both Eye Buttons simultaneously until you hear a confirmation sound. This adds the item to your playlist.
2. Repeat for up to five items.
3. To play your playlist, navigate to the dedicated playlist option within the content categories (indicated by a specific icon, refer to the device's display).
4. To clear the playlist, press and hold both Eye Buttons for an extended period until a clear confirmation sound is heard.

6.4 Funció de temporitzador

The timer function allows the Story Pal to play content for a set duration before automatically shutting off.

6.5 Ús d'auriculars

A standard 3.5mm headphone jack is located on the side of the Story Pal for private listening. Insert headphones (not included) into the jack. The external speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.
