1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the AKYPACH Wood Router. This electric hand trimmer is designed for precision woodworking tasks such as slotting, trimming, carving, and laminate milling. With its powerful 800W motor and 30,000 RPM speed, it provides efficient and accurate results for both hobbyists and professionals. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure safe and effective use of your tool.

5. Configuració

5.1 Col·locació de la base

1. Assegureu-vos que el router estigui desconnectat de la font d'alimentació.
2. Align the transparent base with the main body of the router.
3. Secure the base using the provided screws or locking mechanism until it is firmly attached.

5.2 Installing Router Bits

1. With the router unplugged, press the spindle lock button (if available) or use the provided wrenches to loosen the chuck nut.
2. Insert the desired router bit into the chuck, ensuring at least 3/4 of the shank is seated.
3. Tighten the chuck nut firmly using the wrenches. Do not overtighten.

5.3 Ajust de la profunditat de tall

2. Loosen the floor height adjustment knob.
3. Lower or raise the router body until the desired cutting depth is achieved, using the precision ruler for accuracy.
4. Tighten the floor height adjustment knob securely to lock the depth.

Always perform a test cut on scrap material before working on your final workpiece.

6.1 Engegada/apagada

• To turn on the router, press the power switch located on the top of the unit.
• To turn off, release or press the power switch again. Always ensure the tool is completely stopped before setting it down.

6.2 Funcionament bàsic

• Hold the router firmly with both hands, maintaining a stable grip on the soft rubber handle.
• Guide the router smoothly along the desired path. For best results, feed the router against the rotation of the bit.
• Do not apply excessive pressure; allow the router's speed and the bit to do the cutting.

6.3 Using Guides

• Straight Line Auxiliary Gauge: Attach this guide for making straight cuts along an edge. Ensure it is securely fastened and adjusted to the desired offset from the workpiece edge.
• Trimming Guide Wheel: Use this guide for following curved edges or patterns. The roller runs along the curve, ensuring accurate and smooth trimming.

7. Manteniment

Un manteniment regular garanteix la longevitat i el rendiment òptim del vostre router.

• Neteja: After each use, disconnect the power and use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust and debris from the tool, especially from the ventilation slots. Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals.
• Substitució de raspalls de carbó: The router is equipped with replaceable carbon brushes. If the motor performance decreases or sparks are excessive, the carbon brushes may need replacement. Refer to the diagram on the product for the carbon brush replacement access point. Use the provided spare carbon brushes.
• Manteniment del mandril: Keep the chuck clean and free of debris to ensure proper bit seating.
• Inspecció del cable: Regularly inspect the power cord for any damage. Do not use the tool if the cord is frayed or damaged.
