Configuració
Initial Winding and Setting:
- Desenrosqueu la corona: Gently unscrew the crown counter-clockwise until it pops out to position 1.
- Manual Winding (Position 1): In position 1, turn the crown clockwise approximately 20-30 times to initiate the movement and build up initial power reserve. The Calibre 400 is an automatic movement and will self-wind with wrist motion, but manual winding is recommended for initial setup or after extended periods of inactivity.
- Setting the Date (Position 2): Pull the crown out one more click to position 2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement.
- Setting the Time (Position 3): Pull the crown out to its outermost position, position 3. The seconds hand will stop (hacking feature). Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. To ensure accuracy, set the time a few minutes ahead and then push the crown back in when a reliable time signal (e.g., from an atomic clock) reaches the desired time.
- Assegurar la Corona: Once time and date are set, push the crown back in and screw it down clockwise firmly against the case to ensure water resistance. Do not force it.

Your Oris Aquis Date Calibre 400 is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. It is wound by the natural motion of your wrist. When fully wound, the Calibre 400 offers a power reserve of approximately 5 days (120 hours). If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it may stop. Simply follow the initial winding steps in the "Setup" section to restart it.
Using the Uni-directional Rotating Bezel:
The watch features a uni-directional rotating bezel, designed for timing dives or other events. It rotates only counter-clockwise to prevent accidental increases in timed duration, which is a critical safety feature for divers.
- Aligning the Bezel: Rotate the bezel counter-clockwise until the triangle marker (or zero marker) aligns with the minute hand.
- Timing an Event: As time passes, the minute hand will move away from the triangle marker. The elapsed time can be read directly from the bezel scale at the position of the minute hand.
