5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Reabastecer el motor

The AL-KO BC 260 MT uses a 2-stroke petrol engine. It requires a mixture of unleaded petrol and 2-stroke engine oil. Refer to the engine unit for the correct mixing ratio (typically 1:25 or 1:50, depending on oil type).

• Always mix fuel in a separate, approved container.

5.2 Arrencada del motor

3. Premeu la bombeta d'encebament diverses vegades fins que el combustible sigui visible.
4. Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine fires (may run briefly).
5. Disengage the choke (if engaged).
6. Pull the starter cord again until the engine runs smoothly.
7. Deixeu que el motor s'escalfi uns instants abans d'actuar amb l'accelerador.

5.3 Using the Line Trimmer / Brush Cutter

• Attach either the Fast&Easy line spool or the brush cutter blade. Ensure the guard is correctly installed for the chosen attachment.
• For the line trimmer, tap the head on the ground while running at full throttle to advance the line. The Fast&Easy system allows for easy line replacement without opening the head.
• For the brush cutter, use a sweeping motion. Be aware of potential kickback when the blade strikes hard objects.
• Maintain a safe distance from obstacles and ensure stable footing.
