5. Configuració i instal·lació
The Hermitlux range hood can be installed in either ducted or ductless (recirculating) configurations. Ensure you have all necessary tools and follow local building codes.

- Remove all protective blue/white film from the range hood and chimneys before use.
- Determine your desired installation height. The adjustable chimney allows for flexible placement.

Choose between ducted or ductless operation. For ducted installation, connect the aluminum duct pipe to the air outlet and vent it to the outside. For ductless (recirculating) operation, ensure the charcoal filters are installed to purify the air before it is recirculated into the kitchen.

6. Instruccions de funcionament
Your Hermitlux range hood is equipped with user-friendly controls for efficient operation.
6.1 Tauler de control
The sensitive push-button control panel allows you to adjust fan speeds and lighting. The range hood features 3 fan speeds to meet various ventilation requirements.

6.3 Il·luminació LED
The range hood is equipped with 2 energy-efficient 1.5W LED lights to illuminate your cooking area. Press the light button on the control panel to turn the lights on or off.

7. Manteniment i neteja
Un manteniment regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i una llarga vida útil de la campana extractora.
7.1 Grease Filter Cleaning
The multi-layer mesh grease filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage). They are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
- To remove: Locate the latch on each filter, push it inwards, and pull the filter downwards.
- Clean: Wash in a dishwasher or by hand with warm, soapy water.
- To reinstall: Align the filter with the slots and push the latch back into place until it clicks.

7.2 Charcoal Filter Replacement (Ductless Mode)
If using the range hood in ductless mode, the charcoal filters should be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on cooking frequency. These filters are not washable and must be replaced.
7.3 Neteja exterior
Clean the stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that could scratch the surface.
