5.1 Initial Start-up and Priming

2. Verify the pre-filter basket and pump housing are filled with water.
3. Turn on the power to the pump. The pump will begin to self-prime.
4. Monitor the pump for water flow. Self-priming times vary based on suction height: approximately 1 minute for 2m suction, 1 minute 40 seconds for 3m suction, and 2 minutes for 4m suction.
5. Once a steady stream of water is observed, the pump is fully primed and operating normally.

Allow the pump to run for the recommended daily filtration cycle, typically 8-12 hours, depending on pool size and usage. Regularly check the pressure gauge on your filter (if applicable) to determine when backwashing or cleaning is required.

  3. Unscrew the transparent pre-filter lid.
  4. Remove the pre-filter basket (Polypropylene + 5% FV) and empty any debris.
  5. Esbandiu bé la cistella amb aigua.
  6. Inspect the lid O-ring for cracks or wear; replace if necessary.
  7. Reinsert the clean basket, replace the O-ring, and securely fasten the lid.
  8. Open valves and re-prime the pump as described in Section 5.1.

6.2 Hivernització

In regions with freezing temperatures, the pump must be properly winterized to prevent damage.
