2. Informació de seguretat

4. Configuració
4.1 Desembalatge
Carefully remove the multimeter and its accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components are present:
- Multímetre digital C-LOGIC 520
- Cables de prova (vermell i negre)

- 9V Battery (if included, otherwise purchase separately)
4.2 Instal·lació de la bateria
The C-LOGIC 520 Digital Multimeter requires a 9V battery for operation. To install or replace the battery:
- Assegureu-vos que el multímetre estigui encès OFF.
- Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior de la unitat.
- Descargoleu el(s) cargol(s) de subjecció i retireu la coberta amb cura.
- Connect the 9V battery to the battery clip, observing correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).

4.3 Connexió dels cables de prova
Always connect the black test lead to the "COM" (Common) input jack. Connect the red test lead to the appropriate input jack based on the measurement you intend to perform:
- VΩmA: Per al voltage, Resistance, Diode, Continuity, and small Current (mA) measurements.
- 10A: For high DC Current (up to 10A) measurements.
5. Instruccions de funcionament
Before taking any measurement, ensure the multimeter is set to the correct function and range. Incorrect settings can damage the device or the circuit being tested.
5.1 Mesurar AC/DC Voltage
- Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack.
- Turn the rotary switch to the desired ACV (V~) or DCV (V-) range (e.g., 200V, 600V). If the voltage is unknown, start with the highest range.

5.2 Measuring DC Current (Ampera)
CAUTION: Never connect the multimeter in parallel to a voltagfont d'alimentació quan es mesura el corrent. Connecteu-ho sempre en sèrie amb la càrrega.
- Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack.
- For currents up to 200mA, connect the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack. For currents up to 10A, connect the red test lead to the "10A" jack.
- Turn the rotary switch to the appropriate DCA (A-) range (e.g., 200mA, 10A).
- Open the circuit where you want to measure current and connect the multimeter in series.

5.3 Measuring Resistance (Ohms)
CAUTION: Ensure the circuit is de-energized before measuring resistance. Do not measure resistance on live circuits.
- Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack.
- Turn the rotary switch to the desired Resistance (Ω) range (e.g., 200Ω, 2MΩ).
- Connect the test probes across the component whose resistance you want to measure.

5.4 Prova de continuïtat

- Turn the rotary switch to the continuity (•))) position.

5.5 Prova de díodes
- Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack.
- Turn the rotary switch to the diode (►|) position.

- Turn the rotary switch to the desired battery test range (1.5V, 9V, or 12V).
- Connect the red probe to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the black probe to the negative (-) terminal.

5.7 Funció de retenció de dades

6. Manteniment
6.1 Neteja
To clean the multimeter, use a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasives, solvents, or harsh chemicals. Ensure the device is completely dry before use or storage.
6.2 Substitució de la bateria
When the low battery indicator (LBD) appears on the display, it is time to replace the 9V battery. Follow the steps outlined in the "Battery Installation" section (4.2) under Setup.
6.3 Canvi de fusibles
The multimeter is protected by internal fuses, typically for the current measurement ranges. If the current measurement function stops working, the fuse may need replacement. Refer to the specifications section (7.0) for fuse ratings. Fuse replacement should only be performed by qualified personnel.
WARNING: Disconnect test leads from all circuits and turn off the multimeter before opening the case for fuse replacement to avoid electric shock.
