1. Introducció

The LinkTap G2S Smart Water Timer & Gateway system provides an intelligent solution for automated garden watering. This manual outlines the necessary steps for installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and water conservation.

3. Configuració

3.1. Instal·lació de passarel·la

1. Connect the Gateway to your internet router using the provided Ethernet cable.
2. Plug the power adapter into the Gateway and a power outlet.
3. Verify that the 'Internet' and 'Link' indicator lights on the Gateway turn solid green, indicating a successful connection.

3.2. Water Timer Battery Installation

1. Using the provided screwdriver, unscrew the four screws on the back cover of the G2S Water Timer.

3. Insert four new AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity. No utilitzeu piles recarregables.
4. Replace the back cover and securely tighten the screws to maintain the weather-resistant seal.

3.3. App Download and Device Pairing

1. Download the LinkTap mobile app from your device's app store (available for Android and iOS).
2. Create a user account or log in if you already have one.
3. In the app, tap the "Add Device" option and scan the QR code located on the back of your G2S Water Timer. The device will automatically pair with your Gateway.

3.4. Instal·lació física

1. Assegureu-vos que l'aixeta exterior estigui tancada.
2. Screw the G2S Water Timer onto your outdoor faucet. Ensure the integrated screen filter is in place at the inlet.
3. Connect your garden hose or irrigation system to the outlet of the G2S Water Timer.
4. Slowly turn on your outdoor faucet.

4. Operating the LinkTap System

4.1. Watering Modes

The LinkTap app offers various watering modes to suit your needs:

• Instant Watering: Manually start or stop watering immediately for a set duration or volume.
• Interval Mode: Set recurring watering schedules (e.g., every X days, multiple times a day).
• 7-Day Mode: Customize watering schedules for each day of the week.
• Odd-Even Mode: Water on odd or even calendar days.
• Month Mode: Schedule watering for specific days of the month.

• Master Valve Mode: Control multiple zone valves with a single master valve.

4.2. Weather-Adaptive Watering

The system can automatically adjust watering based on local weather data:

• Rain Skip: Automatically skips scheduled watering if significant rainfall is detected or forecasted.
• Temperature Adaptive: Adjusts watering duration based on temperature (e.g., waters more in hot weather, less in cool weather).
• Smart Anti-Freeze Protection: Automatically opens the valve when temperatures drop below a preset threshold to prevent pipe damage.

4.3. Real-Time Notifications and Data

The LinkTap app provides comprehensive real-time information:

5. Manteniment
