4.1 Location and Hearth Requirements

• Position the stove on a level, non-combustible hearth that extends beyond the minimum clearances specified in Section 2.2.
• Ensure adequate ventilation in the room where the stove is installed to support combustion and prevent negative pressure.

• Solució: Use only dry firewood. Increase primary and secondary air supply. Adjust butterfly valve for better draft.

7.3 Glass Blackening

• Causa: Wet fuel, low burning temperature, or insufficient secondary air.
• Solució: Ensure fuel is dry. Burn hotter fires. Increase secondary air to promote cleaner combustion. Clean glass as per Section 6.2.
