3. Sizing and Fit

The MUELLER 4-in-1 Lumbar Back Brace is designed as a one-size-fits-most product. It accommodates waist sizes from 38 inches to 48 inches (76.2 cm to 121.9 cm).

To ensure the correct size and fit, please measure around the widest part of your waist while standing in a relaxed position.

4. Configuració i aplicació

1. Prepare the Brace: Ensure the brace is laid flat and the adjustable closure straps are open.

3. Secure the Primary Closure: Bring the main closure straps to the front and secure them firmly around your abdomen. The double-layer design allows for a custom fit.
4. Adjust for Compression: Use the finger pockets on the outer straps to pull and tighten for desired compression and support. These straps allow for fine-tuning the fit.
5. Insert Hot/Cold Pack (Optional): If using the hot/cold pack, place it into the designated mesh pocket at the back of the brace before applying.

5. Operating Instructions (Hot/Cold Pack)

The removable hot/cold pack provides therapeutic relief. Follow these instructions for proper use:

Cold Therapy - Freezer

• Place pack in freezer for 1.5 hours before use.
• Place pack inside Mueller Lumbar Back Brace pouch, or wrap pack in protective material.
• Apply Mueller Lumbar Back Brace to back with hot/cold pack inside, or apply wrapped pack to injured area in intervals of 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off.

Hot Therapy - Microwave

• Microwave pack on HIGH (100% power) for 20 seconds.
• Knead to distribute heat.
• Microwave pack for additional 20 seconds.
• If more heat is required, heat it an additional 10-second until desired temperature is reached.
• Allow pack to stand for 20 seconds before removing from microwave.
• Knead pack to distribute heat.
• Place pack inside Mueller Lumbar Back Brace pouch, or wrap pack in protective material.
• Apply Mueller Lumbar Back Brace to back with hot/cold pack inside, or apply wrapped pack to injured area in intervals of 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off.

Hot Therapy - Hot Water

• Place pack in hot water (max 60°C) for 10 – 15 minutes.
• Knead pad to distribute heat.
• Place pack inside Mueller Lumbar Back Brace pouch, or wrap pack in protective material.
• Apply Mueller Lumbar Back Brace to back with hot/cold pack inside, or apply wrapped pack to injured area in intervals of 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off.

WARNING: DO NOT APPLY DIRECTLY TO SKIN!

Place a barrier between the Hot/Cold pack and skin. For external use only. Do not use on infants. Always test the pack temperature prior to use. Do not place heavy objects on pack. Overheating may cause injury to person, including burns. Heating beyond suggested times may damage or ruin the pack. Use mild soap, alcohol or detergent to clean as needed. Do not use with topical analgesics. Do not boil. Do not ingest.

• Velcro/Hook-and-Loop Fastener Wear: Over time, with frequent use and adjustments, the hook-and-loop fasteners may lose their grip. This is normal wear and tear. Ensure the fasteners are clean and free of lint or debris. If the grip significantly weakens, consider replacing the brace for optimal support.
