4. Configuració
4.1. Connecting the Discharge Hose
The pump's discharge nozzle is designed for flexible hose connections.
- Attach a suitable discharge hose to the pump's outlet. The pump supports hose diameters of 25 mm (1 inch) and 38 mm (1½ inches).
- Ensure the connection is secure to prevent leaks during operation.
- The discharge nozzle can be rotated 360 degrees to direct the water flow as needed.

4.2. Positioning the Pump
- Place the pump on a firm, level surface in the water to be pumped. Ensure the intake openings at the bottom of the pump are not obstructed.
- For deeper applications like wells or tanks, use the supplied 10-meter nylon rope. Attach the rope securely to the pump's handle and carefully lower the pump into the water. Do not use the power cable or discharge hose for lowering.
- Ensure the float switch has sufficient space to move freely up and down, as its movement controls the pump's automatic operation.

5. Funcionament
5.1. Funcionament automàtic (interruptor de flotador)
The TROTEC TWP 11000 ES pump features an automatic float switch for hands-free operation.
- Once the pump is connected to the power supply and immersed in water, the float switch will activate the pump when the water level reaches approximately 50 mm.
- The pump will continue to operate until the water level drops to approximately 40 mm, at which point the float switch will turn the pump off.
- Ensure the float switch is positioned so it can move freely and is not restricted by walls or other objects.

5.2. Manual Operation (Continuous Pumping)
For continuous pumping, the float switch can be secured in an upward position.
- To engage manual operation, lift the float switch and secure it in the "on" position using the clip on the pump body.
- In manual mode, the pump will operate continuously, regardless of the water level, until it is manually unplugged or the float switch is released.
- Precaució: Do not allow the pump to run dry in manual mode, as this can cause damage. Monitor the water level closely.
