1. Introducció

The AXA 706-B is a standard LED battery-powered bicycle headlight designed for retro and classic bicycles. It provides 15 lux of light output, enhancing visibility and safety during cycling. The headlight operates on 4 AAA batteries, offering up to 50 hours of continuous use. Its design features a dark chrome casing, combining functionality with a classic aesthetic.

4. Configuració i instal·lació

4.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the rear of the headlight.
  2. Obriu la coberta amb cura.
  3. Introduïu 4 piles AAA, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+ i -) tal com s'indica a l'interior del compartiment.
  4. Tanqueu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria de manera segura fins que encaixi al seu lloc.

4.2. Mounting the Headlight

The AXA 706-B headlight is designed for handlebar mounting. Ensure the mounting bracket is compatible with your bicycle's handlebar diameter.

  1. Position the headlight on your bicycle's handlebar.
  2. Use the provided mounting hardware to secure the headlight firmly. Ensure it is stable and does not wobble.
  3. Adjust the angle of the headlight so that the beam illuminates the path ahead without blinding oncoming traffic.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

To operate the AXA 706-B headlight:

  1. Locate the power button, typically on the top or rear of the headlight.
  2. Press the power button once to turn the headlight ON. The LED will illuminate, providing 15 lux of brightness.
  3. Press the power button again to turn the headlight OFF.

The headlight offers a single brightness setting. With fresh AAA batteries, you can expect up to 50 hours of continuous operation.

6. Substitució de la bateria

When the light output diminishes or the headlight stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the headlight.
  2. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.
  3. Traieu les piles AAA velles.
  4. Insert 4 new AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  5. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.
  6. Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local environmental guidelines.

7. Manteniment

  • Neteja: Wipe the headlight's casing i lent amb un suau, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the plastic and chrome finish.
  • Emmagatzematge: If the headlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent potential leakage and damage to the device. Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Inspecció: Periodically check the mounting bracket for tightness and ensure the headlight is securely attached to your bicycle.
