The ETA Harmony II bread maker is a versatile appliance offering a range of features:

  • Adjustable bread sizes: 1 kg, 1.25 kg, and 1.5 kg.
  • Adjustable crust browning intensity.
  • 12 predefined automatic programs, including options for gluten-free bread, cake bases, pizza dough, homemade jams, and yogurts.
  • Delay start function for up to 15 hours.
  • KEEP WARM function that maintains temperature for up to 60 minutes.

4. Configuració

4.1 Neteja inicial

Before first use, clean all parts that will come into contact with food. Wash the baking pan and kneading hooks with warm, soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the bread maker with a damp tela. Assequeu totes les parts bé.

4.2 Assembling the Baking Pan

  1. Insert the kneading hooks onto the shafts at the bottom of the baking pan. Ensure they are securely in place.
  2. Place the assembled baking pan into the bread maker's cavity. Press down firmly until it clicks into place.

Plug the bread maker into a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate, indicating the appliance is ready for use.

5.1 Funcionament bàsic

  1. Afegir ingredients: Place ingredients into the baking pan in the order specified by your recipe (typically liquids first, then dry ingredients, with yeast last).
  2. Seleccioneu el programa: Use the program selection button to cycle through the 12 available programs. The selected program number will be displayed on the backlit screen.
  3. Selecciona la mida del pa: Choose your desired bread size (1 kg, 1.25 kg, or 1.5 kg) using the dedicated button.
  4. Selecciona el color de la crosta: Adjust the crust browning intensity (light, medium, dark) to your preference.
  5. Començar a coure: Press the START/STOP button to begin the selected program. The bread maker will automatically perform kneading, rising, and baking cycles.
  6. Fi del programa: A series of beeps will signal the end of the program. The bread maker may automatically switch to the KEEP WARM function.
  7. Treure el pa: Carefully remove the baking pan using oven mitts. Invert the pan to release the bread. If kneading hooks remain in the bread, use the provided hook tool to remove them.

5.2 Programes

The ETA Harmony 2 offers 12 automatic programs for various baking needs. Refer to your recipe book for specific program recommendations for different types of bread, dough, jam, and yogurt.

To delay the start of a program, set your desired program, loaf size, and crust color. Then, use the delay timer buttons to set the desired delay time, up to 15 hours. The displayed time includes the baking time. Press START/STOP to activate the delay function.

5.4 KEEP WARM Function

After most baking programs are complete, the bread maker will automatically enter a 60-minute KEEP WARM cycle to keep your bread warm. You can cancel this function by pressing the START/STOP button.

5.5 Adding Ingredients Signal

During certain programs, the bread maker will emit an audible signal (beeps) to indicate the optimal time to add additional ingredients such as fruits, nuts, or seeds. Add them carefully through the lid opening.

5.6 Power Outtage Memòria

In case of a brief power interruption (typically less than 10 minutes), the bread maker's internal memory will retain the program settings and continue operation once power is restored. For longer outages, the program will need to be restarted.

6.1 Cleaning the Baking Pan and Kneading Hooks

After each use, allow the baking pan and kneading hooks to cool completely. Fill the pan with warm, soapy water and let it soak for a few minutes to loosen any stuck-on dough. Use a soft sponge or cloth to clean the non-stick surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal utensils, as these can damage the non-stick coating. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storage.
