Before operating the chainsaw, proper assembly and preparation are essential.

- Place the chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face forward on the top side of the bar.

- Re-check chain tension. A properly tensioned chain will not sag on the underside of the guide bar and can be pulled around the bar without excessive force.
3.3. Fuel and Chain Oil Filling
- Combustible: The CSH56 uses a 2-stroke engine. Mix unleaded gasoline with high-quality 2-stroke engine oil at the ratio specified in the engine manual (typically 25:1 or 50:1, refer to specific engine instructions). Fill the fuel tank carefully.

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your Scheppach CSH56 chainsaw.
4.1. Arrencada del motor
- Place the chainsaw on a firm, flat surface. Ensure the chain brake is engaged.
- Set the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.

- Talla: Plan your felling direction. Make a directional notch on the side of the fall, then a felling cut from the opposite side, slightly above the notch.
- Limbing: Work from the bottom up, supporting the branch if necessary to prevent pinching.
- Enganxament: Cut logs into desired lengths. Be mindful of tension in the wood to avoid pinching the guide bar.
4.3. Aturar el motor
- Release the throttle trigger and allow the engine to idle.
