The SEBSON IR_CEIL_C is an infrared motion detector designed for ceiling surface mounting in outdoor environments. It features a 360-degree detection angle and a maximum range of 20 meters, making it suitable for various applications such as activating outdoor lighting.
4. Instal·lació
This motion detector is designed for surface mounting on ceilings. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and suitable for the device's weight.
4.1 Ubicació de muntatge
- Mount the detector at a height between 2.2 meters and 4 meters for optimal detection.
- Avoid mounting near heat sources (e.g., air vents, direct sunlight) or objects that might obstruct the detection area.
- Consider the detection range and angle (360° with a maximum 20m diameter) to cover the desired area effectively.
4.2 Cablejat
The device requires a 3-wire connection. Ensure the power supply is OFF before proceeding.
- Open the detector housing carefully.
- Connect the live (L), neutral (N), and switched live (L') wires to the corresponding terminals.
- Secure the cables using the provided strain relief.
- Close the housing, ensuring a tight seal for IP65 protection.

5. Funcionament
Once properly installed and configured, the SEBSON IR_CEIL_C motion detector will automatically activate the connected lighting when it detects movement within its detection zone and when the ambient light level falls below the set threshold. The light will remain on for the duration set by the 'TIME' dial and then turn off automatically if no further motion is detected.
6. Ajustaments
The motion detector features two adjustable dials to customize its operation:
- TEMPS (Durada): This dial controls how long the connected light remains on after motion is detected. The adjustable range is from 10 seconds to 30 minutes. Turn the dial clockwise to increase the duration and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
- LUX (Sensibilitat a la llum): This dial determines the ambient light level at which the motion detector becomes active. The adjustable range is from 3 LUX (darkness) to 2000 LUX (daylight). Turn the dial towards the 'sun' symbol for activation during daylight and towards the 'moon' symbol for activation only in low light conditions.
To access the adjustment dials, carefully open the detector housing as shown in the installation section.

- Netegeu periòdicament la lent del sensor amb un drap suau i sec.amp cloth to remove dust or dirt that may affect detection. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
