Introducció

The Einhell TC-SY 18/60 Li-Solo cordless paint spray system is designed for efficient and precise application of paints, glazes, detergents, impregnating agents, and oils. This handheld system is ideal for small to medium-sized work surfaces, offering cordless freedom and ease of use. As a member of the Power X-Change family, it operates with any 18V Power X-Change battery (battery and charger sold separately).

Configuració

1. Instal·lació de la bateria

The TC-SY 18/60 Li-Solo is part of the Einhell Power X-Change family and requires an 18V Power X-Change battery and charger, which are no inclòs with this sprayer and must be purchased separately.

1. Ensure the sprayer is switched off.
2. Insert a charged 18V Power X-Change battery into the battery slot on the handle until it clicks into place.

2. Assembling the Spray Gun

1. Attach the spray gun attachment (with the 800 ml container) to the main spray gun body. Ensure it is securely fastened.
2. Select the appropriate nozzle (2.0 mm or 2.5 mm) based on the viscosity of your material. The 2.5 mm nozzle is generally for thicker materials, and 2.0 mm for thinner.
3. Insert the chosen nozzle into the spray head and secure it with the nozzle cap.

3. Preparing Paint/Material and Viscosity Test

Before filling the container, it is crucial to test the viscosity of your paint or material to ensure optimal spraying performance.

1. Remeneu bé la pintura/material.
2. Fill the supplied 100 ml viscosity measuring cup with the material.
3. Measure the time it takes for the material to completely flow out of the cup. Refer to the paint manufacturer's recommendations for ideal viscosity. If the material is too thick, dilute it according to the manufacturer's instructions (e.g., with water for water-based paints, or appropriate thinner for oil-based paints).
4. Once the correct viscosity is achieved, fill the 800 ml paint container with the prepared material. Do not overfill.
5. Securely attach the container to the spray gun.

• Hold the spray gun at a consistent distance (typically 15-30 cm or 6-12 inches) from the surface.
• Move the sprayer in smooth, even strokes, overlapping each pass slightly to ensure uniform coverage.
• Avoid tilting the sprayer excessively, as this can affect paint flow.
• Always start spraying off the workpiece and end off the workpiece to prevent uneven application.

2. Ajust del patró de polvorització

The adjustable air cap allows you to select vertical, horizontal, or round spray jets to suit your application needs.

• Horizontal Jet: For vertical surfaces, rotate the air cap to align the two horizontal prongs.
• Vertical Jet: For horizontal surfaces, rotate the air cap to align the two vertical prongs.
• Round Jet: For small areas or corners, rotate the air cap to align the single central prong.

3. Paint Flow Regulation

The paint quantity regulation knob allows for ideal adaptation of the paint application rate, up to 650 ml per minute.

• Turn the regulation knob to increase or decrease the amount of paint sprayed.
• Test the flow on a scrap piece of material before applying to your main project.

Manteniment i Neteja

Proper cleaning after each use is essential to maintain the performance and longevity of your paint sprayer.

1. Contenidor buit: After spraying, empty any remaining material from the 800 ml container back into its original can or a suitable disposal container.
2. Esbandida inicial: Fill the container with an appropriate cleaning solution (water for water-based paints, mineral spirits/thinner for oil-based paints). Spray the cleaning solution through the gun until it runs clear. Do this in a well-ventilated area or outdoors.
3. Desmuntar: Disconnect the battery. Remove the spray gun attachment and disassemble the nozzle, air cap, and any other removable parts that came into contact with paint.
4. Neteja a fons: Use the supplied cleaning brush and cleaning needle to thoroughly clean all paint-bearing elements, including the nozzle, air cap, fluid tip, and the inside of the container. Pay special attention to small orifices to prevent clogging.
5. Rentar i assecar: Rinse all cleaned parts with clean water (if applicable to the cleaning solution used) and allow them to dry completely before reassembly.
6. Emmagatzematge: Store the cleaned and reassembled sprayer in a dry, safe place, away from extreme temperatures and out of reach of children. The housing includes a suspension device for space-saving storage.
