Introducció

The Scosche MagicMount Pro Charge5 Dash/Vent Mounting Kit provides a magnetic wireless charging system for smartphones in your vehicle. This kit offers two primary mounting options: a vent mount and a dash mount. It is designed to wirelessly charge compatible devices at up to 10-Watts, featuring foreign object detection to ensure safe charging. The mount is compatible with iPhone 12, 13, or later models with MagSafe technology, allowing direct attachment without a MagicPlate. For other compatible smartphones, a MagicPlate is used to secure the device. The powerful N50 neodymium magnets ensure a secure hold, and the design allows for 360-degree rotation for optimal viewing in both portrait and landscape orientations.

Instruccions de configuració

1. Preparing Your Device for Magnetic Attachment

For iPhone 12, 13, or later models with MagSafe, no MagicPlate is required. The device will magnetically attach directly to the MagicMount Charge5 head.

For non-MagSafe compatible devices, use the included MagicPlate. Clean the back of your phone or phone case with the provided prep wipe. Carefully peel the adhesive backing from the MagicPlate and firmly press it onto the desired location on your device or case. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to bond before use.

2. Choosing and Installing Your Mount Base

The kit includes both a dash mount and a vent mount. Select the option that best suits your vehicle and preference.

Dash Mount Installation:

1. Clean the desired dash surface thoroughly with the prep wipe and allow it to dry.
2. Peel the adhesive backing from the dash mount.
3. Press the dash mount firmly onto the clean, flat surface of your dashboard. Hold for 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.
4. Attach the MagicMount Charge5 head to the ball joint of the dash mount and tighten the collar to secure it.

Vent Mount Installation:

1. Attach the MagicMount Charge5 head to the ball joint of the vent mount and tighten the collar.
2. Carefully slide the vent clips onto a louver of your vehicle's air vent. Ensure the clips are securely seated.

3. Connecting for Power and Charging

Plug the included USB-C cable into the MagicMount Charge5 head. Connect the other end of the cable to the 12V 20W Dual USB-C Car Adapter, then insert the adapter into your vehicle's 12V power outlet.

Use the two included cable management clips to route and secure the charging cable, keeping it tidy and out of the way.

The mount features foreign object detection, which will temporarily disable charging if metal objects are detected between the mount and your device, preventing potential damage.

3. Ajust Viewangle ing

The mount head features a 360-degree adjustable ball joint. Loosen the collar slightly, adjust your device to the desired portrait or landscape orientation, and then tighten the collar to secure the position.

Manteniment

• Keep the magnetic surface of the mount clean and free of debris to ensure optimal grip.
• Periodically check the tightness of the ball joint collar to maintain your preferred viewangle de ing.
• If using the dash mount, ensure the adhesive remains strong. Avoid repositioning frequently to preserve adhesive integrity.

• Ensure your phone is wirelessly charging compatible (Qi-enabled).
• If using a phone case, ensure it is not too thick, as this can interfere with wireless charging.
