1. Introducció

5. Configuració

5.1 Desembalatge i col·locació

• Place the sander on a stable, level workbench. The robust rubber feet will help absorb vibrations and ensure a secure position.
• Ensure there is sufficient space around the machine for safe operation and workpiece handling.

5.2 Attaching the Sanding Disc

• Ensure the machine is unplugged from the power source.
• The disc sander is equipped with a Velcro attachment. Simply align the K80 sanding disc with the disc pad and press firmly to secure it.

• Ensure the machine is unplugged from the power source.
• Localitza el clamping device for the sanding belt. Release the tension to allow the old belt to be removed or a new belt to be installed.
• Slide the K80 sanding belt onto the rollers, ensuring it is correctly oriented (check for directional arrows on the belt if present).
• Re-apply tension to the belt.
• The centering of the sanding belt can be adjusted from the outside to ensure it runs true on the rollers.

5.4 Connecting Dust Extraction

• Connect a suitable dust extraction system to the dust extraction connection port on the sander. This will help maintain a clean workshop environment and improve visibility during operation.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Funcionament general

• Before starting, ensure all adjustments are secure and the workpiece is ready.

• Turn on the sander using the power switch. Allow the machine to reach full speed before applying the workpiece.
• Apply gentle, even pressure when sanding. Avoid excessive force, which can lead to poor results, premature wear of abrasives, and potential motor strain.
• Move the workpiece smoothly across the sanding surface to ensure even material removal.
• When finished, turn off the sander and wait for all moving parts to come to a complete stop before leaving the machine unattended.

6.2 Using the Disc Sander

• The disc sander is ideal for shaping, squaring ends, and general material removal.
• The tilting aluminum table can be adjusted to various angles. Loosen the locking knob, set the desired angle using the angle scale, and re-tighten the knob.
• The cross stop can be swivelled from -60° to +60° degrees for precise angle sanding.
• Always sand on the downward-rotating side of the disc to prevent the workpiece from being thrown upwards.

6.3 Using the Belt Sander

• The belt sander is suitable for larger surfaces, edge sanding, and removing significant amounts of material.
• The sanding belt device can be swivelled and positioned both horizontally and vertically for optimal adaptation to your work. Loosen the relevant locking mechanism, adjust the belt to the desired position, and secure it.
• Utilize the workpiece stop to support your material and ensure consistent sanding.

7. Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sander. Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance.

7.1 Neteja

• After each use, clean the machine to remove dust and debris. Use a brush or compressed air.
