Introducció

Configuració i instal·lació

This section outlines the steps for installing your Aquasure Premier RO system. Refer to the system diagram for component identification.

1. Comprovació prèvia a la instal·lació:
   • Ensure you have adequate space under your sink for the system and tank.
   • Confirm water pressure is within recommended limits (40-80 PSI).
   • Gather necessary tools (drill, wrench, utility knife, etc.).
2. Instal·leu l'aixeta:
   • Drill a 1/2 inch hole in your sink or countertop at the desired faucet location.
   • Mount the faucet, ensuring a secure and watertight seal.
3. Connect the Feed Water Adapter:

   • Disconnect the cold water line from the angle stop valve.
   • Install the feed water adapter onto the angle stop valve, then reconnect the cold water line.
4. Install the Drain Saddle:
   • Locate a suitable drain pipe section above the P-trap.
   • Drill a 1/4 inch hole in the drain pipe.
   • Attach the drain saddle securely over the drilled hole.
5. Position the RO System and Tank:
   • Place the RO system unit and the storage tank in their desired locations under the sink.

   • Connect the red tubing from the feed water adapter to the inlet of the RO system.
   • Connect the black tubing from the drain saddle to the drain port on the RO system.
   • Connect the yellow tubing from the RO system to the storage tank via the tank ball valve.
   • Connect the blue tubing from the RO system to the RO faucet.
   • Ensure all quick-connect fittings are fully inserted and secured with locking clips.
7. Initial System Flush:
   • Turn on the cold water supply slowly.
   • Open the RO faucet and allow water to flow for at least 24 hours to flush the system and new filters. This is crucial for optimal taste and performance.
   • Close the RO faucet and allow the storage tank to fill completely (this may take 2-4 hours).
   • Drain the tank completely by opening the RO faucet again. Repeat this fill/drain cycle 2-3 times.

Instruccions de funcionament

Once installed and flushed, your Aquasure Premier RO system operates automatically. Water flows through the system, is purified, and stored in the tank, ready for dispensing through the dedicated faucet.

Understanding the Filtration Process:

• Stage 1 (AF-PR1 - Pre-Sediment Filter): Removes sediment, rust, sand, and other large particles, protecting subsequent filters.
• Stage 2 (AF-PR2 - Carbon Block Filter): Reduces chlorine, taste, odor, and other chemicals.
• Stage 3 (AF-MEM75 - RO Membrane): The core of the system, rejecting up to 99% of dissolved solids, heavy metals, and other contaminants.
• Stage 4 (AF-PR4 - Post-Carbon Filter): Provides final polishing for taste and odor, ensuring crisp, clean water.

The system features a Built-in Check Valve to prevent backflow and a 90° Quick Twist Lock for easy filter installation and removal.

Manteniment

Regular maintenance, primarily filter replacement, is crucial for the continued performance and water quality of your RO system.

1. Tanqueu el subministrament d'aigua: Close the feed water adapter valve and the tank ball valve. Open the RO faucet to relieve pressure.
2. Elimina els filtres antics: For each filter, twist counter-clockwise to unlock and pull down to remove.
3. Instal·la filtres nous: Insert the new filter cartridge into the corresponding housing and twist clockwise to lock it into place. Ensure the correct filter type is used for each stage (refer to filter labels).
4. Restaurar el subministrament d'aigua: Slowly open the tank ball valve and then the feed water adapter valve.
5. Neteja els filtres nous: Open the RO faucet and allow water to run for 10-15 minutes to flush out any carbon fines from the new filters.

Calendari de canvi de filtre recomanat:

• Pre-Sediment (AF-PR1) & Carbon Block (AF-PR2): Every 6-12 months, depending on water quality and usage.
• RO Membrane (AF-MEM75): Every 2-3 years, depending on water quality and usage.
• Post-Carbon (AF-PR4): Cada 12 mesos.
