3. Configuració

3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del monitor.
2. Introduïu quatre piles AA segons els indicadors de polaritat (+/-) que hi ha a l'interior del compartiment.
3. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

Alternatively, you can power the device using the provided power adapter by plugging it into the DC port on the side of the monitor and into a wall outlet.

3.2 Connexió del braçalet

1. Locate the air tube connector on the arm cuff.
2. Firmly insert the air tube connector into the air jack on the left side of the blood pressure monitor unit. Ensure it is securely connected to prevent air leakage during measurement.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Preparació per a la mesura

• Eviteu menjar, beure alcohol, fumar, fer exercici i banyar-se durant 30 minuts abans de la mesura.
• Descansa almenys 5 minuts abans de prendre una mesura.
• Seieu en una posició còmoda amb l'esquena recolzada i els peus a terra.
• Col·loca el braç sobre una taula de manera que el maneguet quedi a l'alçada del cor.

4.2 Aplicació del braçalet

1. Slide your arm through the cuff loop.
2. Position the cuff so the air tube runs down the center of your inner arm and aligns with your middle finger. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm above your elbow.
3. Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm. Ensure it is not too tight or too loose. The index line on the cuff should fall within the range indicated on the cuff itself.

4.3 Prendre una mesura

1. Un cop el maniguet estigui correctament col·locat i estigueu en una posició relaxada, premeu el botó INICI/PARA botó.
2. El maneguet s'inflarà automàticament. No parlis i no parlis durant la mesura.
3. After inflation, the cuff will slowly deflate, and your blood pressure and pulse rate will be displayed on the screen.

4.4 Interpretació dels resultats

The display will show your systolic pressure (SYS), diastolic pressure (DIA), and pulse rate (P/min). If an irregular heartbeat is detected, a corresponding symbol will appear on the screen.

4.5 Funció de memòria

The monitor automatically stores up to 90 measurement records. To review lectures anteriors, premeu la tecla Memory (M) button. Repeatedly pressing the button will cycle through the stored measurements. The device can also display the average of the last three readings for better trend analysis.

5. Manteniment i cura

• Neteja: Wipe the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then wipe dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
