2. Configuració
2.1 Col·locació de la base de càrrega
For optimal robot navigation and charging, the charging dock should be placed against a wall. Ensure there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clearance on either side of the dock and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) of clearance in front of it.
2.2 Càrrega inicial
Ensure the robot vacuum is correctly connected to the charging dock. The robot will audibly report "charging" when properly connected. If the device is not charging, please double-check the charging cable and the slot of the dock are well connected. Push the cable head firmly into the slot at the bottom of the dock. Regularly clean the charging contacts on both the robot and the charging dock to ensure proper connection.

Download the official Roborock app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your Q5 robot vacuum. The app allows for comprehensive control, including viewing vacuuming routes, setting cleaning schedules, adjusting suction power, and creating custom cleaning zones.

3.1 Succió potent
The Roborock Q5 features powerful 2700Pa suction, enabling it to easily pick up pet hair, dust, and finer dirt from both hard floors and carpets. When a carpet is detected, the vacuum will automatically increase its suction to the maximum setting for deep cleaning.

3.2 Precision Navigation with LiDAR
Equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, the Q5 creates accurate maps of your home. It can save up to 4 different maps, allowing for multi-level cleaning. Utilize the 3D Mapping feature in the Roborock app to view your home virtually and customize cleaning areas by adding furniture and floor materials.

3.3 Extended Runtime and Dustbin Capacity
The Q5 features a large onboard battery providing up to 180 minutes of runtime, capable of cleaning up to 3230 sqft on a single charge. Its large 470ml dustbin means less frequent emptying, allowing for uninterrupted cleaning of larger homes.

3.4 No-Go Zones and Invisible Walls
Prevent the robot from entering defined areas or protect fragile items by creating No-Go Zones and Invisible Walls within the Roborock app. This allows for precise control over where the vacuum cleans.

3.5 User-friendly Voice Control
The Roborock Q5 supports Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Siri Shortcuts. This allows you to command your robot vacuum to start, stop, or perform other functions using only your voice, providing hands-free convenience.
3.6 Floating Main Brush
The multi-directional floating rubber brush on the Q5 stays close to the ground, ensuring effective cleanup even on uneven surfaces. This design is particularly effective for picking up pet hair.

4. Manteniment
4.1 Dustbin and Filter Maintenance
The Q5's large 470ml dustbin should be emptied regularly. For easier cleaning, remove the HEPA filter before dumping the contents into a garbage can. The washable HEPA filter should be vacuumed with a wand vacuum after every cleaning excursion and washed every 3-4 excursions to maintain optimal performance.
4.2 Contactes de càrrega
Dirty charging contacts can prevent the robot from charging correctly. Regularly clean the two charging contacts at the bottom of the robot and the corresponding contacts on the charging dock to ensure a proper connection.

5. Solució De Problemes
5.1 Robot Cannot Find Its Dock
If the robot cleaner is unable to find its dock, it might be due to being started in a different location, encountering an obstacle, or being moved manually. Try the following solutions:
- Move the dock to a new location. The dock should be placed against a wall, with at least 0.5m of clearance on either side and 1.5m in front.
- Clean the front signal transmission area of the dock.
- Clean the robot's front sensor, as both are used for the robot to locate the dock.
5.2 El robot no es carrega
If the robot cleaner is not in a charging mode, despite being on the dock, consider these steps:
- Confirm the indicator on the dock is solid when the cleaner is not on it, and off when the robot is properly placed. The robot should report "charging".
- Ensure the charging cable and the slot of the dock are well connected. Push the cable head firmly into the slot at the bottom of the dock.
- Clean any dirty charging contacts on both the robot and the charging dock, as poor contact can prevent recharging.
