The HTH Pool Care 1" Chlorine Tabs (Model 42049) are designed for effective swimming pool water sanitation. Read all precautionary statements on the product label before use. This product is a strong oxidizing agent. Improper use can cause fire, explosion, or release of toxic gases.

• Do not mix with other products. Mixing with other chemicals, including other pool chemicals, can cause a violent reaction, fire, or explosion.

• Use only in a floater, feeder, or skimmer basket. Do not throw tablets directly into the pool.

• If chlorine residual goes above 4 ppm, remove tablets from skimmer basket until residual drops below 4 ppm.

3. Setup and Usage Instructions

These 1" chlorine tabs are suitable for all pool types, including saltwater systems. Use 1" tabs for above-ground pools. For best results, ensure proper water balance before adding the product.

4. Manteniment

Regular testing and balancing of your pool water are crucial for effective sanitation and swimmer comfort. Maintain chlorine levels between 1 and 4 ppm.

Routine Chlorination:

Add two one-half ounce tablets per 10,000 gallons of water every other day, or as needed to maintain 1-4 ppm free available chlorine. Adjust dosage as needed to maintain desired chlorine residual.

Shock Treatment / Superchlorination:

As a preventative treatment, superchlorinate your pool every 7 days or after heavy rain. Additional shock treatment may be necessary to remedy problems that may occur, such as: persistent odors, eye irritation, cloudy water, and algae. Follow instructions for your chosen HTH shock product.

5. Emmagatzematge i eliminació

Emmagatzematge:

Keep this product dry in its tightly closed container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat or open flame. Non-refillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container. Rinse empty container thoroughly with water to dissolve all material before discarding. Offer for recycling if available or place in trash. For disposal of a contaminated product or unapproved use, contact your State Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency, or the Hazardous Waste Representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for guidance.
