1. Introducció

This versatile audio system combines modern digital radio (DAB+) with traditional FM radio, a CD player, MP3 playback via USB, and a classic cassette recorder. It also features an alarm clock and a convenient audio book function. Please read this manual carefully before operating the unit to ensure proper use and to maximize its performance.

2. Instruccions de seguretat

Per garantir un funcionament segur i evitar danys, observeu les següents precaucions de seguretat:

• No exposeu aquest aparell a degoteigs o esquitxades d'aigua.
• No col·loqueu objectes plens de líquids, com ara gerros, sobre l'aparell.
• Assegureu-vos que hi hagi una ventilació adequada. No bloquegeu cap obertura de ventilació.

• SCAN/MODE Button: Switches between DAB+, FM, CD, USB, and Cassette modes. Initiates station scan in radio mode.

• CLOCK/ENT Button: Sets clock and confirms selections.

• AC Power Input (AC: 230V~50Hz): Connects the included mains adapter.
• Port USB: For connecting USB flash drives for MP3 playback or recording.
• Auriculars Jack: Per connectar auriculars (3.5 mm).

6. Configuració

Connexió d'alimentació

The SCD7800SW can be powered by the included mains adapter or by batteries.

• Funcionament de xarxa: Connect the mains adapter to the AC power input on the rear of the unit and plug the other end into a standard wall outlet (AC 230V~50Hz).
• Funcionament amb bateria: Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. Insert 6 x UM-2/C 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

Antena

For optimal radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna located on the rear of the unit. Adjust its position for the best signal quality.

7. Instruccions de funcionament

Funcionament general

• Encès/apagat: Premeu el botó POWER per encendre o apagar la unitat.
• Selecció del mode: Press the SCAN/MODE button repeatedly to cycle through DAB+, FM, CD, USB, and Cassette modes.
• Ajust de volum: Use the VOL +/- buttons to adjust the listening volume.

Operació de ràdio DAB+

1. Switch to DAB+ mode using the SCAN/MODE button.
2. The unit will automatically scan for available DAB+ stations on first use. To initiate a manual scan, press and hold the SCAN/MODE button.
3. Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to navigate through the list of available stations.
4. To save a station as a preset, press and hold the PRE +/- button until the display shows a preset number. Use SKIP/SEARCH to select the desired preset number, then press CLOCK/ENT to confirm.
5. To recall a preset, briefly press the PRE +/- button.
6. Press INFO/SNOOZE to cycle through station information (e.g., program type, signal strength).

Funcionament de la ràdio FM

1. Switch to FM mode using the SCAN/MODE button.
2. To auto-scan and save stations, press and hold the SCAN/MODE button. The unit will scan and save strong stations automatically.
3. To manually tune, briefly press the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to fine-tune the frequency. Press and hold SKIP/SEARCH to auto-scan to the next strong station.
4. Saving and recalling presets works the same as in DAB+ mode.

Reproducció de CD/MP3

1. Open the CD compartment and insert a CD with the label side facing up. Close the compartment.
2. Switch to CD mode using the SCAN/MODE button. The unit will read the disc.
3. Press PLAY/PAUSE to start or pause playback.
4. Premeu STOP per aturar la reproducció.
5. Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to skip to the next/previous track. Press and hold to fast forward/rewind within a track.
6. Funció de repetició: Press the REPEAT button (if available, or cycle through menu options) to repeat the current track, all tracks, or a specific folder (for MP3 CDs).
7. Shuffle Function: Press the SHUFFLE button (if available, or cycle through menu options) to play tracks in a random order.

Cassette Recording/Playback

1. Open the cassette compartment and insert a cassette.
2. Switch to Cassette mode using the SCAN/MODE button.
3. Reproducció: Press the PLAY button on the cassette deck controls to start playback.
4. Gravació: To record from radio or USB, first select the desired source (DAB+, FM, or USB). Insert a blank cassette. Press the RECORD button on the cassette deck. The unit will begin recording the audio from the selected source. Press STOP to end recording.

Reproducció USB

1. Inseriu una unitat flash USB que contingui MP3 files into the USB port on the rear.
2. Switch to USB mode using the SCAN/MODE button. The unit will read the files.
3. Playback controls (PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP/SEARCH) function similarly to CD playback.

Funció de despertador

1. Ensure the clock is set correctly. Press and hold CLOCK/ENT to enter clock setting mode. Use SKIP/SEARCH to adjust time and CLOCK/ENT to confirm.
2. To set Alarm 1 or Alarm 2, press and hold VOL +/- / AL1 / AL2 until the alarm setting appears.
3. Use SKIP/SEARCH to set the alarm time and CLOCK/ENT to confirm.
4. Select the alarm source (CD, Radio, USB, or Signal Tone) using SKIP/SEARCH and confirm with CLOCK/ENT.
5. To activate/deactivate an alarm, briefly press the corresponding AL1 or AL2 button. An alarm icon will appear on the display when active.
6. When the alarm sounds, press INFO/SNOOZE to activate snooze (alarm will sound again after a few minutes) or press POWER to turn off the alarm.

Audio Book Function (RESUME)

The Audio Book Function (RESUME) allows the CD player to automatically resume playback from the last stopped position. This feature must be activated in the system settings or by a specific button if available. Consult the on-screen menu or specific button functions for activation. Once activated, the CD will always start from where it was last stopped, even after powering off the unit.

8. Manteniment

• Neteja: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. For stubborn stains, a slightly damp cloth may be used, followed by a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

• Emmagatzematge: When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the power adapter and remove batteries. Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
