The OREI UHDS-212 is designed for simple plug-and-play operation. Follow the steps below to connect your devices.

Connecting as a 2x1 Switch (Two Sources to One Display)

1. Connect your first HDMI source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console) to one of the input ports on the UHDS-212.
2. Connect your second HDMI source device (e.g., streaming box, PC) to the other input port on the UHDS-212.
3. Connect the output port of the UHDS-212 to the HDMI input of your display (TV or monitor).

Connecting as a 1x2 Splitter (One Source to Two Displays)

1. Connect your HDMI source device (e.g., laptop, DVD player) to the single input port on the UHDS-212.

3. Connect the second output port of the UHDS-212 to the HDMI input of your second display.

Important Cable Length Considerations

• Per 4K@60Hz resolution, do not use HDMI cables longer than 10 feet (approximately 3 meters). For optimal performance, it is recommended to use 1.5-meter cables on each port.
• For lower resolutions like 4K@30Hz or 1080p@60Hz, use HDMI cables less than 15 feet (approximately 4.5 meters) on each port.

The OREI UHDS-212 features a simple push-button operation to switch between inputs or outputs.

The central button on the OREI UHDS-212 allows users to easily switch between connected HDMI sources or displays.

Switching Inputs/Outputs

Once all devices are connected and powered on, simply press the button on the top of the UHDS-212 unit to cycle through the available HDMI inputs (in 2x1 switch mode) or outputs (in 1x2 splitter mode). An LED indicator will show which input/output is currently active.

Driver Installation (for PC/Mac Extended Display)

Nota: This device will not extend the monitor for PC or laptops in a true multi-monitor setup. It allows you to toggle between displays or sources. It also does not extract audio.
