1. Introducció
The CEM DT-8806 Digital Thermometer is a non-contact infrared thermometer designed for accurate and hygienic temperature measurement. 3. Configuració
3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria
- Locate the battery cover at the bottom of the thermometer handle.
- Feu lliscar la tapa de la bateria cap avall per obrir el compartiment.
- Introduïu dues piles AAA d'1.5 V, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+ i -).
- Close the battery cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.
Note: If the low battery symbol appears on the display, replace the batteries promptly to ensure accurate readings.

4. Instruccions de funcionament
4.1 Funcionament bàsic
- Point the thermometer at the center of the forehead from a distance of 1cm to 5cm (0.39in to 2.0in).
- Press the measurement trigger button to take a reading.
- The temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen within 1 second.

4.2 Mode Selection (Body / Surface)
The DT-8806 thermometer supports two measurement modes: Body Mode and Surface Mode. Press the MODE botó per canviar entre aquests modes.
- Mode corporal: Used for measuring human body temperature. The display will show "Body".
- Mode de superfície: Used for measuring the surface temperature of objects, such as milk, bathwater, or room temperature. The display will show "Surface Temp".

4.3 Temperature Unit Switching (°F / °C)
Per canviar entre Fahrenheit (°F) i Celsius (°C), premeu i manteniu premut el botó MODE button for approximately 3 seconds until the unit changes on the display.

4.4 Funció de memòria
The thermometer can store up to 32 sets of temperature readings. To access the memory, press the UP or ABAIX buttons when the device is on. This allows you to track historical temperature changes.

4.5 Fever Alarm
The thermometer features a fever alarm. If the measured body temperature exceeds the preset threshold (default is 38°C or 100.4°F), the display backlight will change color (e.g., to red) and an audible "didi" sound will be emitted to alert you of a potential fever.
4.6 Mode silenciós
The thermometer can be switched to silent mode to avoid disturbing sleeping individuals, especially babies. Refer to the device's buttons for the specific sequence to activate/deactivate silent mode (often by pressing and holding the "Up" or "Down" button).
5. Manteniment
5.1 Neteja
- Feu servir un drap suau i sec per netejar el cos del termòmetre.
- For the infrared sensor lens, gently wipe with a cotton swab lightly moistened with alcohol. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Assegureu-vos que el dispositiu estigui completament sec abans de guardar-lo o utilitzar-lo el següent cop.
5.2 Emmagatzematge
- Guardeu el termòmetre en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
- If the thermometer will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the device.
