The PULACO UV-c Algae Clean Light is designed for continuous operation to effectively control algae and pathogens in your aquarium water. Once installed and powered on, it will begin to sterilize the water passing through your filter.

• Ús inicial: For severe algae blooms, continuous operation for several days to a week may be necessary to achieve clear water.

Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your UV-c light.

1. Apagar: Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before performing any maintenance.
2. Clean Quartz Sleeve: Over time, mineral deposits and algae can accumulate on the quartz sleeve, reducing UV light penetration. Gently remove the UV unit from the filter. Carefully clean the quartz sleeve with a soft cloth or sponge and warm water. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
3. Inspeccionar per danys: Periodically inspect the power cord, plug, and the UV unit for any signs of damage, cracks, or leaks. If any damage is found, discontinue use immediately.
