The SwitchBot Smart Lock is designed for easy, tool-free installation on most existing deadbolts. It uses 3M adhesive and does not require permanent modifications to your door or lock.

Instal·lació de la bateria
The SwitchBot Lock requires two CR123A batteries, which are included. Install them according to the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.

Ensure your existing deadbolt is compatible with the SwitchBot Smart Lock. The device is compatible with Double Cylinder Deadbolts, Jimmy Proof Locks, and Mortise locks. It is not compatible with Lever Locks, Cylindrical Locks, Gerda Tytan, Rimlocks, or Multi-Point Locks.

Instal·lació física
- Prepara la porta: Clean the area around your existing deadbolt's thumb-turn on the inside of your door using the provided wet wipe. Ensure the surface is dry.
- Attach Adapters: Select the appropriate thumb turn adapter and adjustable base adapter for your deadbolt. The lock comes with various adapters to fit different thumb-turn shapes and sizes.
- Muntar el pany: Apply the double-sided tape to the back of the SwitchBot Lock. Align the lock with your existing deadbolt's thumb-turn and firmly press it onto the door. Ensure the lock is level and securely attached.

App Setup and Calibration

The SwitchBot Lock's batteries typically last approximately 180 days with average use (10 times per day). The app will notify you when battery levels are low. To replace, open the battery compartment, remove the old CR123A batteries, and insert new ones, observing correct polarity.
Neteja
Wipe the exterior of the SwitchBot Lock and Hub Mini with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.

Lock Not Responding to App Commands
- Check Bluetooth/WiFi: Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and you are within range for direct control. If using remote control, verify the Hub Mini is connected to WiFi and has a stable internet connection.

- App Glitches: If commands get confused after manual operation, try closing and reopening the SwitchBot app.
