Introducció

The Blink Sync Module XR serves as a central hub for your Blink wireless security camera system, specifically designed to extend the operational range of Blink Outdoor 4 cameras. This module facilitates communication between your cameras and the Blink cloud, enabling features such as live view, motion detection alerts, and video recording. It also supports local video storage via a MicroSD card (sold separately).

Instruccions de configuració

1. Download the Blink App: Install the Blink Home Monitor app on your smartphone or tablet. It is available for iOS (version 15.0 or higher), Android (version 9.0 or higher), and Fire OS (version 9.0 or higher).
2. Crea un compte: If you are a new user, create a Blink account and log in.
3. Add Sync Module XR: In the Blink app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device. Select "Blink Sync Module" and follow the on-screen prompts to scan the QR code on the back of your Sync Module XR.
4. Connecteu-vos a l'alimentació: Plug the USB-C cable into the Sync Module XR and connect the power adapter to an electrical outlet. The module's blue light will blink, then turn solid blue, and finally a solid green light will indicate it's ready for setup.
5. Connecta't a Wi-Fi: The app will guide you through connecting the Sync Module XR to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (802.11b/g/n). Ensure the module is placed within range of your Wi-Fi router.

7. Placement for Extended Range: For optimal extended range performance, position your Sync Module XR strategically. It supports up to two Outdoor 4 cameras at an extended range of up to 250 feet in XR mode, and up to 400 feet in XR+ mode (video resolution may vary).

  • In XR+ mode, video resolution may vary. Adjust camera settings in the app if needed.
