This 12000 BTU ductless split-system air conditioner and heat pump is designed to provide year-round comfort with high efficiency (21.4 SEER2) and quiet operation. It is suitable for various spaces where central ductwork is not available, such as sunrooms, garages, small offices, or home gyms.

The ComfortStar® Mini Split AC/Heating System consists of an indoor unit (evaporator), an outdoor unit (condenser), and various accessories for installation and operation.

3.1 Components clau

4. Configuració i instal·lació
Installation of the ComfortStar® Mini Split AC/Heating System requires specialized tools and knowledge. It is strongly recommended that installation be performed by a certified HVAC professional to ensure proper function, safety, and warranty validity.
4.1 Llista de comprovació prèvia a la instal·lació
- Verify power supply (208/230V / 60Hz).
- Ensure adequate space for both indoor and outdoor units, allowing for proper airflow and maintenance access.
- Confirm all included components are present (Condenser, Evaporator, Remote and holder, Wifi module, 15Ft Line Set, Communication Cable, Putty, Wall Plastic Sleeve, PVC White Tape, Vibration Pad).

4.2 Passos generals d'instal·lació (es recomana la instal·lació professional)
- Col·locació de la unitat interior: Select a location that allows for optimal air distribution and drainage. Mount the indoor unit securely to the wall.
- Col·locació de la unitat exterior: Choose a stable, level surface outdoors, away from obstructions. Ensure sufficient clearance for airflow.
- Connexió del conjunt de línies: Connect the pre-charged copper line set between the indoor and outdoor units. Ensure proper flaring and tightening to prevent leaks.
- Cablejat elèctric: Connect the power supply and communication cable according to the wiring diagram provided in the full installation manual.
- Drenatge: Install the condensate drain line with a proper slope to allow for gravity drainage.
- Vacuuming and Leak Check: Evacuate the system to remove air and moisture, then perform a leak check.
- Prova d'execució: After installation, perform a test run to verify all functions are operating correctly.
5. Instruccions de funcionament
Your ComfortStar® Mini Split system can be operated using the included remote control. Ensure the remote has fresh batteries and is pointed towards the indoor unit.

5.1 Funcions de control remot
- Botó d'encesa: Encén/apaga la unitat.
- Botó de mode: Canvia pels modes de funcionament: Automàtic, Refrigeració, Deshidratació, Calor i Ventilador.
- Ajust de temperatura: Up/Down arrows to set desired temperature.
- Velocitat del ventilador: Ajusta la velocitat del ventilador (Automàtic, Baixa, Mitjana, Alta).
- Botó de swing: Controls vertical louver movement for air direction.
- Botó del temporitzador: Configura temporitzadors d'encesa/apagada per a un funcionament programat.
- Mode de repòs: Optimitza la temperatura i la velocitat del ventilador per a un son còmode.
- Mode turbo: Proporciona un refredament o calefacció ràpida.
- Segueix-me: Activates a sensor in the remote to measure ambient temperature at its location, optimizing comfort.
5.2 Modes de funcionament
- Mode automàtic: The unit automatically selects cooling, heating, or fan-only operation based on the room temperature and set temperature.
- Mode fresc: Provides cooling by removing heat from the room.
- Mode sec (deshumidificació): Redueix la humitat a l'habitació sense canvis significatius de temperatura.
- Mode de calor: Provides heating by transferring heat into the room.
- Mode de ventilador: Fa circular l'aire sense escalfar ni refredar.
6. Manteniment
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ComfortStar® Mini Split system. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.
6.1 Neteja del filtre d'aire
The indoor unit is equipped with a High Density Filter and a Cold Catalyst Filter. Clean these filters regularly (every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain air quality and efficiency.
- Obriu el panell frontal de la unitat interior.
- Traieu els filtres d'aire.
- Netegeu els filtres amb un aspirador o renteu-los amb aigua tèbia.
- Deixeu que els filtres s'assequin completament abans de tornar-los a col·locar.
- Tanqueu el panell frontal.
6.2 Neteja de la unitat exterior
Periodically check the outdoor unit for debris, leaves, or other obstructions that may block airflow. Gently clean the coils with a soft brush or water hose. Do not use high-pressure water.
6.3 Servei professional
It is recommended to have a qualified HVAC technician perform a comprehensive service check at least once a year. This includes checking refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and overall system performance.
