3. Compatibilitat

This kit is specifically designed for NZXT H7 series cases. It is compatible with PCIe 4.0 x16 graphics cards and is backwards compatible with previous PCIe generations. It supports modern GPUs including AMD 6000 series and NVIDIA 30-series cards.

4. Configuració i instal·lació

Abans de començar:

• Open your PC case and remove the side panel.
• Remove your existing graphics card if one is installed.
• Remove all standard horizontal PCIe slot covers from your case.

4.1. Installing the Vertical GPU Mounting Bracket

1. Position the vertical GPU mounting bracket inside your PC case. Align the screw holes on the bracket with the designated mounting points in your NZXT H7 series case.
2. Secure the bracket to the case using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent movement.

4.2. Connecting the PCIe Riser Cable

1. Carefully connect one end of the 175mm PCIe 4.0 x16 riser cable to the PCIe slot on your motherboard. Ensure it is fully seated.
2. Connect the other end of the riser cable to the PCIe slot on the vertical GPU mounting bracket.

4.3. Installing the Graphics Card

1. Align your graphics card with the PCIe slot on the vertical mounting bracket.
2. Gently press the graphics card into the slot until it is fully seated.
3. Secure the graphics card to the bracket using the provided screws. This ensures stability and prevents sagging.

4.4. Finalització de la instal·lació

1. Connect all necessary power cables to your graphics card.
2. Route display cables (HDMI, DisplayPort) from your monitor to the graphics card's output ports through the rear of the case.
3. Close your PC case and re-attach the side panel.
4. Plug your computer back into the wall outlet and power it on.

The vertical GPU mounting kit requires minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect the bracket and riser cable for any signs of damage or loose connections. Ensure dust buildup is cleared from around the graphics card and mounting area to maintain optimal airflow within the PC case.

• Graphics Card Not Detected:
  • Ensure the PCIe riser cable is fully seated in both the motherboard and the vertical mounting bracket.
  • Verify that the graphics card is fully seated in the vertical mounting bracket.
  • Check that all power cables are securely connected to the graphics card.
  • Confirm that your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings are configured correctly for PCIe slot detection, especially if using an older motherboard with a newer PCIe 4.0 riser. Some motherboards may require setting the PCIe slot speed to Gen3 or Gen4 manually.
• Display Issues (No Signal, Artifacts):
  • Ensure display cables are securely connected to the graphics card and monitor.
  • Test the graphics card directly in the motherboard's PCIe slot (without the riser) to rule out a card issue.
• Sagging Graphics Card:
  • Ensure all mounting screws for the bracket and the graphics card are tightened. The sturdy steel bracket is designed to prevent sagging when properly installed.
