1. Introducció

2. Instruccions de seguretat

Operating a log splitter requires strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent injury. Always prioritize your safety and the safety of others.

• Equips de protecció individual (EPI): Always wear safety glasses, hearing protection, heavy-duty gloves, and steel-toed boots. Avoid loose clothing that could get caught in moving parts.
• Àrea de treball: Operate the log splitter on a firm, level surface. Keep the area clear of bystanders, children, and pets. Ensure adequate lighting and ventilation.
• Seguretat elèctrica: The unit operates on 400V. Ensure proper electrical connections and use only approved extension cords suitable for outdoor use and the machine's power requirements. Disconnect power before any maintenance or adjustments.

4. Configuració

Before operating the log splitter, ensure it is correctly assembled and positioned.

1. Desembalatge: Traieu amb cura tots els components de l'embalatge. Comproveu si hi ha algun dany durant el transport.
2. Muntatge: Follow the detailed assembly instructions provided in the separate assembly guide. Ensure all bolts and fasteners are securely tightened.
3. Posicionament: Place the log splitter on a stable, level, and firm surface. The three large transport wheels facilitate movement, but ensure the machine is stationary during operation.
4. Connexió elèctrica: Connect the 400V power cable to a suitable power outlet. Verify the voltage and current requirements match your power supply.
5. Comprovacions inicials: Before first use, check the hydraulic oil level and ensure all safety guards are in place and functional.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Follow these steps for safe and effective log splitting.

1. Col·locació del registre: Place the log vertically on the splitting table. Ensure it is stable and centered under the splitting wedge. The swivel table allows for quick adjustment for different log lengths.
2. Adjusting Splitting Height: Utilize the Vario Split System to adjust the splitting height according to the log length. This feature allows for efficient splitting of various log sizes without unnecessary ram travel.
3. Two-Handed Operation: Engage the splitting mechanism using both control levers simultaneously. This safety feature ensures your hands are away from the splitting area during operation.
4. Splitting Process: The 15-ton splitting force will effortlessly split hard and softwoods up to 1070mm in length. If a log gets stuck, release the controls to retract the wedge, then reposition the log or rotate it before attempting to split again.
5. Removing Split Wood: Once the log is split, release the controls and allow the wedge to retract fully. Carefully remove the split wood. Use the trunk bracket and lever for easier handling of split products.

6. Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your log splitter.

• Neteja: After each use, clean the machine of wood chips, sawdust, and debris.
• Oli hidràulic: Check the hydraulic oil level regularly. Refer to the separate service manual for instructions on checking and refilling hydraulic fluid. Use only recommended hydraulic oil.
• Inspeccions: Periodically inspect all bolts, nuts, and fasteners for tightness. Check for any signs of wear or damage to the splitting wedge, ram, hoses, and electrical cable.
• Lubricació: Lubricate moving parts as specified in the service manual to ensure smooth operation.
• Emmagatzematge: When not in use, store the log splitter in a dry, protected area. The compact design allows for easy storage, with a retracted height of only 110 cm.
