Configuració i instal·lació
Seguiu aquests passos per a una instal·lació correcta:
1. Planning Your Layout
- Measure the area where the tape light will be installed.
- Identify the location for your 24V DC power supply (sold separately). Ensure it is protected from direct water exposure if not rated for outdoor use.
- Plan for any turns or gaps that may require the use of connectors.

2. Cutting and Connecting the Tape Light
- The tape light can be cut to custom lengths at designated cut marks (indicated by copper pads) every 4 inches. Use sharp scissors to ensure a clean cut.
- To connect multiple sections or bridge gaps, use the included splice or wire connectors. Ensure proper polarity (+ to + and - to -).
- For outdoor applications, use the heat shrink tubes to seal all connections, maintaining the IP67 rating. Apply heat evenly until the tube shrinks tightly around the connection.

3. Mounting the Tape Light
- Clean the installation surface thoroughly. It must be dry, smooth, and free of dust, oil, and debris for optimal adhesion.
- Peel off the backing from the 3M VHB adhesive.
- Press the tape light firmly onto the desired surface. Apply pressure evenly along the entire length.
- Use the included wire support clips to secure any loose wires or sections of the tape light, especially around corners or where extra support is needed.

4. Connexió a la font d'alimentació
- Connecteu el baix voltage power wire leads from the tape light to your 24V DC power supply (sold separately). Ensure correct polarity.
- If using an optional dimmer or switch, connect it between the power supply and the tape light according to the dimmer's instructions.
- Once all connections are secure, plug in the power supply to an appropriate electrical outlet.
Instruccions de funcionament
The RibbonFlex Pro LED Tape Light operates on 24V DC power. Once properly installed and connected to a power supply, the lights will illuminate when power is applied.
- On/Off: Control power via the connected 24V DC power supply or an optional inline switch.
- Dimecres: If an optional dimmer (e.g., an Armacost Lighting dimmer) is installed, use its controls to adjust the brightness from 0% to 100%.
