Configuració

Follow these steps to set up your DJI LiDAR Range Finder (RS) with a compatible gimbal:

  1. Muntatge: Attach the LiDAR Range Finder (RS) to your DJI RS 4 Pro or RS 3 Pro gimbal using the Cold Shoe or 1/4"-20 Mounting Hole. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  2. Connexió:
    • Connect the LiDAR Control Cable (USB-C) from the LiDAR Range Finder to the appropriate port on your gimbal.
    • If using a manual lens, connect the Multi-Camera Control Cable (USB-C) to enable communication for autofocus.
  3. Encès: Power on your DJI gimbal. The LiDAR Range Finder (RS) will receive power and data through the connected cables.
  4. Calibration (for Manual Lenses): If using a manual lens, calibration with the new Focus Motor (2022) is required to enable autofocus functionality. Refer to your gimbal's manual for detailed calibration procedures.

The LiDAR Range Finder (RS) simplifies focusing for handheld shooting, especially in challenging lighting conditions.

Focusing Modes

  • Enfocament automàtic (AF): Use the AF/MF switch to select autofocus mode. The LiDAR system will automatically detect and focus on subjects.
  • Enfocament manual (MF): Switch to manual focus mode for precise control. The LiDAR data can still assist by providing distance information on the gimbal's display.

Subject Recognition and Tracking

The advanced machine learning capabilities allow the LiDAR Range Finder (RS) to recognize up to five targets simultaneously. You can then select one target for continuous tracking, with an identification distance of up to 9 meters.

Controls personalitzables

Utilize the Fn, C1, C2, and C3 buttons to assign custom functions via the DJI gimbal's settings, allowing for quick access to frequently used features.
