5.1 Activating the Beacon (Emergency Use Only)

1. Deploy the antenna by pulling it upwards.
2. Slide the protective cover away from the activation button.
3. Press and hold the red ON button for approximately 1 second until the beacon activates. The digital display will show activation status.
4. Position the beacon with a clear view of the sky to optimize GPS signal acquisition and transmission.

5.2 Return Link Service (RLS)

The RLS feature provides peace of mind by confirming that your distress message has been received. Once activated, the beacon will attempt to receive a return link message from the Cospas-Sarsat system. A specific message on the digital display will indicate successful RLS confirmation.

5.3 Self-Test Function

Perform a self-test periodically to ensure your beacon is functioning correctly without sending a false distress signal. 6. Manteniment
