1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the SHARP UD-P20E-W Dehumidifier. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your appliance. Please read it thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

The SHARP UD-P20E-W is designed to effectively reduce excess humidity in rooms ranging from 35 to 46 square meters, helping to prevent mold formation and create a more comfortable indoor environment. It features a 3.8-liter water tank and a dehumidification capacity of up to 20 liters per day.

4. Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.
2. Col·locació: Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow. The integrated swivel castors allow for easy repositioning.
3. Connexió d'alimentació: Connecteu el cable d'alimentació a una presa de corrent amb connexió a terra. Assegureu-vos que el volumtage coincideix amb els requisits de l'aparell.
4. Comprovació inicial: Before first use, ensure the water tank is correctly inserted and the air filter is clean.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

The SHARP UD-P20E-W features a clear control panel with push buttons for easy operation.

5.1 Funcionament bàsic

• Encès/apagat: Premeu el botó d'engegada (⏻) per encendre o apagar la unitat.
• Velocitat del ventilador: Select between 2 fan speeds (Low/High) using the fan speed button (☰).
• Configuració d'humitat: Use the humidity setting buttons to set your desired humidity level. The integrated humidity sensor will maintain this level automatically.

5.2 Funcions especials

• Laundry Drying Function: Activate this function for continuous dehumidification, which helps to dry clothes faster indoors.
• Funció de temporitzador: Set the timer to automatically turn the appliance on or off after a specified period.
• Automatic Defrost Function: The unit is equipped with an automatic defrost function to prevent ice buildup on the evaporator coils, ensuring efficient operation in cooler conditions.
• Mode de rotació: This mode constantly opens and closes the air outlet grille for wider air distribution.

6. Manteniment

Un manteniment regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i allarga la vida útil del deshumidificador. Desendolleu sempre la unitat abans de realitzar qualsevol manteniment.

6.1 Buidatge del dipòsit d'aigua

• When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating, and an audible alarm will sound.
• Carefully pull out the water tank from the side of the unit.
• Buidar l'aigua recollida.
• Reinsert the water tank firmly until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.

6.2 Neteja del filtre d'aire

• The air filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every two weeks or as needed).
• Traieu el filtre d'aire de la part posterior de la unitat.
• Netegeu el filtre amb un aspirador o renteu-lo suaument amb aigua tèbia i detergent suau.
• Deixeu que el filtre s'assequi completament abans de tornar-lo a inserir.

6.3 Drenatge continu (opcional)

For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, you can connect a drain hose (not included) to the continuous drain outlet at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.
