4. Configuració

Preparing a Beverage:

1. Activar: Ensure the machine is plugged in and the water tank is filled. Press the power button to turn on the machine. The buttons will flash during heating and illuminate steadily when ready.
2. Inserir càpsula: Open the capsule holder lever, insert a Tchibo Cafissimo capsule, and close the lever firmly.

4. Selecciona una beguda: Press the desired beverage button (Espresso, Caffè Crema, or Coffee). The machine will automatically brew the selected beverage.

6. Remove Capsule: After brewing, open the capsule holder lever to eject the used capsule into the internal container. Close the lever.

Programming Beverage Quantity:

The machine allows programming beverage quantities from 30 ml to 250 ml.

1. Ensure the machine is ready (buttons illuminated steadily).
2. Insert a capsule and place a cup.
3. Press and hold the desired beverage button. The machine will start brewing.
4. Release the button when the desired quantity is reached. The machine will save this setting for future use with that specific button.

7. Descalcificació

The machine features an automatic descaling indicator. When the indicator lights up, it is time to descale your machine to prevent limescale buildup, which can affect performance and taste.

Descaling Process (General Steps):

1. Empty the water tank and the used capsule container.
2. Fill the water tank with a descaling solution according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions (or use a mixture of water and white vinegar).
3. Place a large container (at least 650 ml capacity) under the coffee outlet.
4. Start the descaling program. (Refer to your machine's specific descaling instructions, usually by pressing and holding certain buttons).
5. Allow the machine to run through the descaling cycle, which typically involves dispensing the solution in intervals.
6. After the descaling solution has been dispensed, rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill it with fresh water.
7. Run several rinse cycles with fresh water to remove any descaler residue.

Always use a descaling agent suitable for coffee machines and follow its instructions carefully.
