3. Configuració

3.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

The MOICO T5 radios require 4 AAA batteries per unit (not included).

1. Assegureu-vos que la ràdio estigui apagada.
2. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior de la ràdio.
3. Press down on the latch and slide the cover downwards to remove it.
4. Introduïu 4 piles AAA, respectant la polaritat correcta (+/-) tal com s'indica a l'interior del compartiment.
5. Torneu a col·locar la tapa del compartiment de la bateria lliscant-la cap amunt fins que encaixi al seu lloc.

3.2. Fixació del clip del cinturó

To attach the belt clip, align the clip with the grooves on the back of the radio and slide it upwards until it locks into place. To remove, push the release tab and slide the clip downwards.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1. Encendre/apagar

• Per encendre: Manteniu premut el botó Potència (⑂) fins que s'il·lumini la pantalla LCD i sentiu un to.
• Per apagar: Manteniu premut el botó Potència (⑂) botó fins que s'apagui la pantalla LCD.

4.2. Ajust de volum

Utilitza el Amunt (▲) i Avall (▼) buttons to adjust the listening volume. The volume level is displayed on the LCD screen.

4.3. Selecció de canals

1. Premeu el botó MENÚ button once. The channel number will flash on the LCD.
2. Utilitza el Amunt (▲) or Avall (▼) botons per seleccionar el canal desitjat (1-22).
3. Premeu el botó PTT button to confirm your selection and exit the menu, or press MENÚ again to move to the next setting.

4.4. CTCSS (Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System)

CTCSS tones help filter out unwanted conversations on a channel. Both radios must be set to the same channel and CTCSS tone to communicate.

The scan function allows you to search for active channels.

• Premeu el botó SCAN (▲) button once. The radio will begin scanning through channels.
• When an active channel is found, the radio will pause on that channel.
• Premeu el botó PTT button to transmit on the active channel, or press ESCANEAR again to resume scanning.

You can send an audible call tone to other radios on the same channel.
