This instruction manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your SIGMA Buster 400 front light and Buster RL 80 rear light set. Please read this manual thoroughly before initial use and keep it for future reference. This lighting kit is designed to enhance your visibility and illuminate your path during cycling activities.

Before proceeding with the setup, please ensure all components are present in your package:

Configuració i instal·lació

Carregant els llums

Both the BUSTER 400 and BUSTER RL 80 lights are equipped with rechargeable batteries. Before first use, fully charge both lights using the provided USB-C cable.

2. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
3. The battery indicator LEDs will show charging progress. Once fully charged, the LEDs will indicate a full charge.

Mounting the Front Light (BUSTER 400)

The BUSTER 400 front light comes with a flexible silicone mount for handlebar attachment. Optional accessories like a helmet bracket or a Butler adapter are available for alternative mounting positions.

• Muntatge del manillar: Secure the silicone strap around your handlebar, ensuring the light is centered and points forward.
• Helmet Bracket (Optional): Attach the helmet bracket to your helmet and then slide the BUSTER 400 onto the bracket.
• Butler Adapter (Optional): Use this adapter to mount the light below your bike computer for a cleaner cockpit setup.

Mounting the Rear Light (BUSTER RL 80)

The BUSTER RL 80 rear light also uses a flexible silicone strap for seat post attachment.

• Secure the silicone strap around your seat post, ensuring the light is positioned vertically and clearly visible from the rear.

Encès/apagat i selecció de mode

Both lights feature a single button for operation.

• Encès: Press and hold the button for approximately 1 second to turn the light on.
• Mode Cycle: Briefly press the button to cycle through the available light modes.
• Apagar: Press and hold the button for approximately 1 second to turn the light off.
• Indicador de bateria: A quick single press of the button when the light is off will display the current battery level.

BUSTER 400 Front Light Modes

The BUSTER 400 offers five light modes with varying brightness and runtimes:

• Alt: 400 lumens, up to 2 hours runtime
• Mitjà: 200 lumens, up to 4 hours runtime
• Baix: 100 lumens, up to 9 hours runtime
• Parpelleig nocturn: 300/100 lumens, up to 5 hours runtime
• Dia intermitent: 100 lumens, up to 25 hours runtime

BUSTER RL 80 Rear Light Modes

The BUSTER RL 80 provides five modes for rear visibility:

• Alt: 25 lumens, up to 2 hours runtime
• Baix: 5 lumens, up to 7 hours runtime
• Dia intermitent: 80 lumens, up to 4.5 hours runtime
• Parpelleig nocturn: 15 lumens, up to 6.5 hours runtime
• Eco Flashing: 5 lumens, up to 12 hours runtime

Manteniment

Neteja

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, clean your lights regularly.

• Netegeu els llums amb un drap suauamp tela.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the housing or lens.
• Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed to prevent water ingress.

Resistència a l'aigua

Both lights are designed to be splash resistant (IPX4 rated), meaning they are protected against splashing water from any direction. They are not intended for submersion.

• Charge the batteries regularly, even if the lights are not in frequent use, to prolong battery life.
