Please read all instructions carefully before using the Ufesa Capriccio 12 Deluxe Drip Coffee Maker. Keep this manual for future reference.

- Always fill the water reservoir first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off," then remove plug from wall outlet.

Configuració

- Neteja inicial: Before first use, clean all removable parts (carafe, filter holder, permanent filter) with warm, soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp tela.

- Fill the water reservoir to the maximum level with fresh cold water.
- Place the empty permanent filter into the filter holder, and ensure the filter holder is correctly seated.

- Turn on the appliance and let it complete a full brewing cycle with only water.
- Discard the water from the carafe. Repeat this process 1-2 times to ensure thorough cleaning.
Instruccions de funcionament
- Aigua d'ompliment: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the desired number of cups indicated on the water level indicator. Do not exceed the "MAX" level.
- Afegir un cafè de cafè:
- Swing out the filter holder.
- Place the permanent filter into the filter holder.
- Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the permanent filter. A general guideline is one tablespoon of ground coffee per cup, but adjust to your taste.
- Close the filter holder securely.

- Positioning Carafe: Place the glass carafe firmly on the heating plate. Ensure it is correctly positioned to activate the anti-drip valve.
- Elaboració de cafè: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the power switch to turn on the coffee maker. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
- Servint cafè: Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to a keep-warm function. The heating plate will keep the coffee warm for approximately 30-40 minutes before automatically shutting off. You can remove the carafe to pour coffee at any time during or after brewing. The anti-drip valve will prevent coffee from dripping when the carafe is removed.

Manteniment i Neteja

- Neteja diària:

- Remove the glass carafe, permanent filter, and filter holder. Wash these parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are not dishwasher safe.
- Netegeu l'exterior de la cafetera amb un damp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni fregalls.
- Netegeu la placa de calefacció amb adamp cloth. Do not use abrasive materials that could damage the non-stick coating.
- Descalcificació: Mineral deposits from water can build up over time and affect performance. Descale your coffee maker regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-4 weeks).
- Prepare a descaling solution by mixing white vinegar and water in equal parts, or use a commercial descaling agent according to its instructions.
- Aboqueu la solució descalcificadora al dipòsit d'aigua.

- Turn on the coffee maker and let half of the solution brew through.
- Turn off the coffee maker and let it sit for 15-20 minutes to allow the solution to work.

- Discard the solution from the carafe.
- Run 2-3 full cycles with fresh, cold water to rinse out any remaining descaling solution and odor.
