Follow these steps to connect your HDMI Matrix Switch to your source devices and displays.

1. Apagueu els dispositius: Ensure all HDMI source devices, displays, and the matrix switch are powered off before making connections.
2. Connectar fonts HDMI: Connect your HDMI source devices (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console, streaming box) to the HDMI IN1-IN4 ports on the matrix switch using high-quality HDMI 2.0 cables (AWG26, less than 3 meters recommended).

6.1 Input/Output Switching

You can switch inputs for each output independently using the front panel buttons or the IR remote control.

The EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) switch on the rear panel allows you to manage how the source devices detect the display capabilities. This is crucial for ensuring compatibility and optimal audio/video formats.

• 4K7.1: Forces the EDID to report support for 4K resolution with 7.1 channel audio (e.g., Dolby Atmos, DTS:X).
• 4K5.1: Forces the EDID to report support for 4K resolution with 5.1 channel audio.
• CÒPIA: Copies the EDID from HDMI OUT1. This is useful if you want the source to detect the exact capabilities of your primary display.

Nota: Change EDID settings while the device is powered on, then restart source devices for changes to take effect.

6.3 4K to 1080P Down-Scaling

The matrix switch can down-scale a 4K source signal to 1080P for displays that do not support 4K resolution. This allows 4K and 1080P TVs to work simultaneously.

• Use the DIP switches labeled "SCALER" on the rear panel.
• Switch 1 controls down-scaling for HDMI OUT1.
• Switch 2 controls down-scaling for HDMI OUT2.
• Set the switch to "ON" (1080P) to enable down-scaling for the respective output. Set to "OFF" (PASS) to pass the original 4K signal.

Nota: Down-scaling applies only to 4K to 1080P. It does not down-scale 4K HDR Dolby Vision (4K60Hz 4:2:2) or VRR signals.

6.4 Audio Return Channel (ARC) and Consumer Electronics Control (CEC)

HDMI OUT1 supports ARC and CEC functionalities. These features are mutually exclusive; only one can be active at a time.

• ARC (canal de retorn d'àudio): Allows audio from the TV connected to HDMI OUT1 to be sent back to the matrix switch's SPDIF output. This is useful for playing TV's internal apps audio through an external sound system. Select "ARC" using the "Optical Out Select" switch.
• CEC (Consumer Electronics Control): Enables control of connected devices through a single remote. When "CEC" is selected via the "Optical Out Select" switch, audio from HDMI OUT1 can be stripped and sent to the L/R 3.5mm output.

Nota: ARC is supported via the SPDIF port. This device is not compatible with Sonos ARC. Ensure your TV and connected audio devices also support ARC/CEC for these features to function.

The matrix switch can extract audio from the HDMI signal and output it through dedicated audio ports.

• SPDIF/Optical Out: Provides 5.1CH digital audio, following the audio from HDMI OUT1.
• L/R OUT (3.5mm): Provides 2.1CH stereo audio, suitable for headphones or stereo speakers.

Nota: The device does not support simultaneous output of ATMOS 7.1 and 5.1 audio. It is not an audio down-mixer.

  • Check the audio settings on your source device and connected audio system.
• El control remot no respon:
  • Remove the battery shield from the remote.
