2. Instruccions de seguretat

3. Components del producte

5. Configuració i instal·lació
Follow these steps for proper setup and installation of your sand filter system:
- Col·locació: Choose a level, stable surface near your pool, protected from direct sunlight and rain. Ensure adequate ventilation and space for maintenance.
- Sand Filling: Remove the multi-port valve from the top of the filter tank. Fill the tank with the recommended amount (up to 20 kg) of filter sand (quartz sand, grain size 0.4-0.8 mm or similar). Ensure the standpipe inside the tank is centered and protected from sand entering it during filling.
- Instal·lació de la vàlvula: Carefully place the 5-way valve onto the top of the tank, ensuring it aligns correctly with the standpipe. Secure the valve with the provided clamp o cargols.
- Connexió de la bomba: Connect the pump to the filter tank using the provided hose. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
- Pool Connections: Connect the "RETURN" port of the 5-way valve to the pool's return inlet and the "PUMP" port of the pump to the pool's skimmer or main drain. Connect the "WASTE" port to a suitable drain or waste area.
- Cebada de la bomba: Before starting, ensure the pump is filled with water. Open the pump's pre-filter lid and fill it with water until the pump housing is full. Close the lid securely.

6. Instruccions de funcionament
The 5-way valve controls the operation of the sand filter system. Always turn off the pump before changing the valve position.

- FILTRE: (Filtern) This is the standard operating mode for daily filtration. Water flows through the sand bed, trapping debris, and returns clean to the pool.
- CONTRENAT: (Rückspülen) Used for cleaning the filter sand. Water flows in reverse through the sand bed, dislodging trapped debris, and is directed out through the waste port. Perform backwash when the pressure gauge reading is 0.2-0.3 bar (3-5 psi) above the clean filter pressure, or when water flow decreases significantly. Backwash for 2-3 minutes or until water runs clear.
- ESbandida: (Spülen) After backwashing, this mode is used to rinse the sand bed and settle it. Water flows through the sand and out the waste port. Rinse for 30-60 seconds after each backwash.
- RESIDUS/DESGUÀS: (Schmutzwasser) Bypasses the filter and sends water directly out the waste port. Useful for vacuuming heavy debris directly to waste, lowering the pool water level, or draining the pool.
- TANCAT: (Geschlossen) Shuts off all flow to the filter and pump. Do not operate the pump in this position. Use when performing maintenance on the pump or filter.
- L'HIVERN: (Winter) Used for winterizing the system. This position typically allows for draining the system and relieving pressure on the valve components. Consult winterization guidelines for your specific climate.
Important: Always turn off the pump before changing the valve position to prevent damage to the valve or system.

7. Manteniment
Un manteniment regular garanteix la longevitat i l'eficiència del vostre sistema de filtre de sorra.
- Rentat a contracorrent: Perform backwash regularly as indicated by the pressure gauge or reduced flow.
- Esbandida: Always rinse after backwashing to prevent dirty water from returning to the pool.
- Substitució de sorra: Filter sand typically needs to be replaced every 3-5 years, depending on usage and water quality.
- Pump Basket Cleaning: Periodically check and clean the pump's pre-filter basket to remove large debris that could obstruct flow.
- Hivernització: In colder climates, drain all water from the pump, filter, and hoses to prevent freezing damage. Store the pump indoors if possible. Set the 5-way valve to the "WINTER" position.
- Neteja general: Keep the exterior of the pump and filter tank clean.
