1. Instruccions de seguretat

Please read all safety instructions carefully before installation and operation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or personal injury.

Important Installation Warning:

For safety reasons, the heating element must only be installed at the bottom of the bathroom radiator.

3. Especificacions

4. Guia d'instal·lació

This heating element is designed for installation into a bathroom radiator or towel warmer. Ensure the radiator is compatible with a G1/2" connection thread.

Passos d'instal·lació:

1. Prepare the Radiator: Ensure the radiator is drained and cool. Locate the G1/2" connection port at the bottom of the radiator.
2. Insert the Heating Element: Carefully screw the heating element into the G1/2" port at the bottom of the radiator. Ensure it is securely tightened to prevent leaks.
3. Segellar la connexió: Use appropriate sealing materials (e.g., PTFE tape) on the threads to ensure a watertight seal.
4. Fill the Radiator: Refill the radiator with water or the recommended heating fluid, ensuring no air pockets remain.

5. Funcionament

The EMKE heating cartridge features an intuitive control panel for temperature and timing adjustments.

Funcions del tauler de control:

• Botó d'encendre (⏻): Press to turn the heating element ON or OFF.
• Botons d'ajust de temperatura (− / +): Use these buttons to set the desired temperature. The temperature can be adjusted from 30°C to 70°C in 5°C increments. The current temperature setting will be displayed.
• Timing Button (⏱): Press this button to activate the timing function. You can select a heating duration of 2 hours or 4 hours. The selected duration (e.g., "2H" or "4H") will be displayed. The heating element will operate for the set time and then automatically turn off.

Instruccions de funcionament:

1. Activar: Premeu el botó d'engegada (⏻) to activate the heating element.
2. Temperatura establerta: Utilitza el + or − buttons to select your desired temperature between 30°C and 70°C.
3. Configura el temporitzador (opcional): If you wish to use the timer, press the Timing button (⏱) to cycle between 2 hours, 4 hours, or continuous operation.
4. Apagar: Premeu el botó d'engegada (⏻) again to turn off the heating element.

6. Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your heating element.

• Neteja: Before cleaning, always unplug the heating element from the power outlet. Wipe the control unit and heating rod with a soft, damp drap. No utilitzeu productes de neteja abrasius, dissolvents ni productes químics agressius.
• Inspecció: Periodically inspect the power cord and plug for any signs of damage. Check the connection to the radiator for any leaks. If any damage is found, discontinue use and contact customer support.
• Emmagatzematge: If storing the heating element for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and stored in a safe place away from extreme temperatures and moisture.

7. Solució De Problemes

If you encounter any issues with your EMKE heating cartridge, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Sense energia:
  • Ensure the power plug is fully inserted into a working electrical outlet.

  • Verify that the power button on the control unit has been pressed.
• Sense calefacció:
  • Confirm the desired temperature is set above the current room temperature.
  • Check if the timer function is active and has not expired.

  • Check the G1/2" connection thread for proper sealing and tightness. Re-tighten if necessary, ensuring not to overtighten.
