4. Carbon Brush Replacement Guide

4.1 External Replacement Steps
For power tools with externally accessible carbon brush covers:
- Step 1: Remove Outer Cover. Use a screwdriver to remove the outer cover of the carbon brush. Take care to press the outer cover when removing it to prevent damage.
- Step 2: Remove Damaged Brush. After opening the outer carbon brush cover, carefully remove the damaged carbon brush. Observe and note how the original carbon brush is placed to ensure correct reinstallation.

- Step 3: Install New Brush. After installing the new carbon brush, tighten the outer cover and pay attention to the carbon brush contact.

- Step 5: Close Back Cover. Close the back cover and tighten the back cover screws securely.
