4. Configuració i instal·lació
4.1 Connexió d'alimentació
The pump features a quick-connect power cable with pre-installed battery clips for easy connection to a 12V DC power source (e.g., vehicle battery).
- Ensure the pump's ON/OFF switch is in the 'OFF' position.
- Connect the green ground clamp to a suitable earth/chassis ground point on your vehicle or power source. This is critical for safety.

4.2 Hose and Nozzle Connection
Attach the provided hoses and nozzle to the pump. Use the included thread tape on all threaded connections to ensure a leak-free seal.
- Apply thread tape to the male threads of the pump's inlet and outlet ports.
- Connect the suction hose to the pump's inlet port.
- Connect the discharge hose to the pump's outlet port.
- Attach the manual nozzle to the end of the discharge hose.

5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1 Fueling Operation
- Ensure all connections are secure and the pump is properly grounded.
- Place the suction hose into the fuel source (e.g., fuel drum, tank).
- Insert the nozzle into the receiving tank's fill port.
- Flip the pump's ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
- Squeeze the nozzle handle to begin fuel transfer.
- Monitor the fuel level in the receiving tank to prevent overfilling.
- Once fueling is complete, release the nozzle handle and flip the pump's ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.
- Remove the nozzle from the receiving tank and the suction hose from the fuel source.

5.2 Emptying Operation
The Fill-Rite RD812NN can also be used to empty containers. Follow the fueling operation steps, but ensure the suction hose is placed in the container to be emptied and the discharge hose directs fuel to a suitable, empty receiving container.

6. Manteniment
