1. Introducció

The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 is a 2-channel DJ controller designed for intuitive and professional DJ performances. It offers compatibility with popular DJ software such as rekordbox and Serato DJ Lite, making it a versatile tool for both beginners and experienced DJs. 4. Identificació de components

4.1. Deck Sections (Left and Right)

Rodes de jog: Large, touch-sensitive platters for scratching, nudging, and pitch bending.
Botó Reproduir/Pausa: Starts or pauses track playback.
Botó Cue: Sets or recalls a cue point.
Tempo Fader: Adjusts the playback speed (BPM) of the track.

4.2. Mixer Section (Center)

4.3. Panell posterior

5. Guia de configuració

5.1. Instal·lació de programari

The DDJ-FLX4 is compatible with rekordbox and Serato DJ Lite. Download the latest version of your preferred software from the official Pioneer DJ or Serato weblloc.

Download the installer for your operating system (Windows/macOS).

5.2. Connexió del controlador

Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the USB port on the DDJ-FLX4.
Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB port on your computer or compatible mobile device. The controller will power on automatically.
Connect your speakers or amplifier to the Master Output (RCA) on the rear panel of the DDJ-FLX4.
Connect your headphones to the Headphone Output on the front panel.
If using a microphone, connect it to the MIC Input on the rear panel.

Nota: For mobile device connectivity, ensure your device supports USB Audio Class Compliant mode and has sufficient power or use a powered USB hub if necessary.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1. Basic DJ Functions

Loading Tracks: Utilitza el CÀRREGA buttons in the mixer section to browse and load tracks from your music library into Deck 1 or Deck 2.
Playing and Pausing: Premeu el botó REPRODUCCIÓ/PAUSA button on each deck to start or stop playback.
Setting Cue Points: While a track is paused, move the jog wheel to the desired starting point and press the CUE botó. Premeu CUE again during playback to return to the cue point.
Ajust de volum: Utilitza el Faders de canal to control the volume of each deck and the Nivell Màster knob for overall output.
Mixing Tracks: Utilitza el Crossfader to blend between the two decks. Adjust Manons d'EQ (High, Mid, Low) to shape the sound of each track.
Beat Matching: Utilitza el Tempo Fader i Jog Wheels to synchronize the BPM and phase of two tracks.

6.2. Smart Mixing Features

Smart Fader: This feature simplifies transitions between tracks. When activated, moving the crossfader automatically adjusts the volume, bass, and BPM of the tracks to create a smooth mix. To use, ensure Smart Fader is enabled in your software settings if applicable, then simply move the crossfader.
Smart CFX: This allows you to apply a combination of effects with a single knob. Rotate the Smart CFX knob in the mixer section to introduce dynamic effects to your mix.

6.3. Ús del micròfon

Connect a microphone to the MIC input. Adjust the microphone volume using the Nivell MIC knob in the mixer section. The DDJ-FLX4 features USB audio output for microphone sound, allowing the microphone audio to be routed through the software and recorded.

6.4. Streaming Service Integration

The DDJ-FLX4 offers seamless integration with selected streaming services through rekordbox or Serato DJ Lite. Refer to your software's documentation for a list of supported services and instructions on how to link your accounts and access their music libraries.

7. Manteniment

Neteja: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
Emmagatzematge: When not in use, store the controller in a clean, dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Protecció contra la pols: Consider using a dust cover to protect the unit from dust accumulation, especially on faders and knobs.

8. Solució De Problemes

Problema	Causa possible	Solució
Sense energia a la unitat.	USB cable not properly connected or faulty.	Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the controller and the computer/device. Try a different USB port or cable.
Sense sortida de so.	Incorrect audio settings in software or computer. Master level too low. Speakers not connected or powered on.	Check audio output settings in rekordbox/Serato DJ Lite to ensure DDJ-FLX4 is selected. Increase Master Level knob. Verify speaker connections and power.
Controller not recognized by software.	Software not updated. USB driver issue.	Update rekordbox/Serato DJ Lite to the latest version. Reinstall the software or check for specific drivers if required by your OS. Restart computer and controller.
Microphone input not working.	MIC Level knob too low. Microphone not connected properly.	Increase the MIC Level knob. Ensure the microphone is securely plugged into the MIC input. Test with another microphone if possible.
