2. Configuració inicial i càrrega

2.1 Càrrec inicial

Your SEIKO Prospex Speedtimer is powered by light energy. Upon receiving your watch, ensure it is exposed to sufficient light to begin charging. A full charge provides approximately 6 months of power reserve. Place the watch in direct sunlight or under strong artificial light for several hours to ensure it is adequately charged before initial use.

3. Operating Your Chronograph

The chronograph function allows for precise time measurement up to 60 minutes in 1/5 second increments.

• Press the upper pusher (A) again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the chronograph second hand and minute hand.

When the unit distance is completed, stop the chronograph. The number on the tachymeter scale indicated by the chronograph second hand is the average speed per hour.

The watch features a curved sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. Sapphire is highly scratch-resistant but not entirely scratch-proof. Avoid impacts and contact with hard surfaces to maintain its pristine condition.

The hands and markers are coated with LumiBrite, a luminous paint that absorbs light energy and emits it in the dark. For optimal glow, expose the watch to bright light for a few minutes before entering a dark environment.

5. Solució De Problemes

5.1 Watch Not Running or Stopping

• Càrrega insuficient: Ensure the watch is exposed to sufficient light for several hours to fully charge the solar cell.
