Components of the Hardwire Kit

• Yellow Wire (B+): Connects to a constant power source (battery positive). This provides continuous power for parking surveillance.
• Red Wire (ACC): Connects to an accessory power source (ignition-switched). This provides power when the vehicle is on.
• Black Wire (GND): Connects to a metal part of the vehicle's chassis for grounding.

Instal·lació pas a pas

1. Prepara el Vehicle:

   Stop the engine and ensure the vehicle is turned off. Locate your vehicle's interior fuse box, typically found near the dashboard or under the steering wheel. You may need to gently pry off a panel to access it.

2. Identify Power Sources:

   Use a power detector or multimeter to identify a constant power source (B+) that remains active even when the car is off, and an accessory power source (ACC) that only receives power when the ignition is on. Refer to your vehicle's fuse diagram (often on the fuse box cover) to find suitable fuses.

   Nota:

   • Use an ACC power supply of 15A to 25A.
   • Use a constant power supply below 30A.

3. Connect Ground Wire (Black):

   Connect the black wire (ground) to a metal part of the car's body or chassis. This provides a stable ground connection for the hardwire kit.

5. Ruta el cable:

Funcionament normal

• Mentre es condueix: If connected to ACC power, your dash camera will power on automatically when you start your vehicle and record continuously.
• While Parked (Parking Surveillance): If connected to constant power (B+) and ACC power, the kit will enable your dash camera's parking guard function. This allows the camera to continue monitoring and recording events even when the vehicle is turned off, providing 24/7 protection. The low voltage protection feature ensures your car battery is not drained.
